The fun begins at 8pm on channel 865 - and from 10pm on Sky Sports 4. Tikay and I will be following the progress of the players in the £12k Bounty Hunter and the £5k Sky Roller. And we'll be joined in the studio by DTD organiser / forum mod / all-round Sky Poker good guy...

scouse_red (aka: Chris England)

We'll attempt to find out everything about Chris you wanted to know, but were afraid to ask. Actually, don't be afraid - ask away. E-mail your questions to skyopen@bskyb.com or post them in this thread. Chris will also be hosting an on-air competition.

Raise sizing

Following on from gingerGSI's thread, what are your thoughts on min-raising? Do you standardise the size of your raises, or mix it up? Is there still a place in the modern game for the 4x open? Please post your thoughts on this subject and send in examples (good, bad and ugly). All we need is the Hand ID number.

Finally, this evening's fun topic:

What gadget should Tikay get next?

He has a smartphone, an iPad and a pair of over-priced Dr Dre headphones. So, what's next for the gadget guru? PS3? Sat Nav? Come on, fellow geeks, I need your suggestions!

    Raise sizing

    early stages up to probably 50/100 i open 3-4x but as soon as the blinds hit 50/100 i start to open with min-2.5x raises with every hand i play whether it be AA or 78s, a lot of people still see the min raise weak and will 3bet you more often which then gives you the option to re pop it as to opening 4x every hand you play not only does it start to represent a large proportion of your chips if you opening raise with every hand is 3/4x and are getting 3 bet frequently you are just spewing unnecessary amount of chips for no reason.... min raising allows you to fold to 3bets while only losing minimum.

    Please note that "tikay" should have a lower case "t". It's a brand, innit.

    I should tell prospective viewers that James is in a particularly tetchy mood this evening, & I expect some difficulty with him tonight - especially when I introduce a new section in the Show called "In the Presenter's Eye". I'm practising it, in readiness for working with Orford on Sunday.

    Fortunately, I am in a great mood, & I am not tetchy, obdurate or curmudgeonly at all. Not even hardly a bit.

    With scouser Chris on it should be an interesting and lively show.

    Afterwards tikay's extensive knowledge of bricks will be useful in describing in detail precisely what both your cars are jacked up on.

    Have a great evening Chris being educated on Mallard reproduction and how good a film like "Dude, Where's my Car?" really is! ;)

    And just remind Tikay places like Leeds, Kirkstall, Huddersfield, Bradford and Harrogate are in Lancashire NOT Yorkshire! ;)

    Don't be shy or reluctant to analyse the hands just because you play low stakes, any questions and opinions you have will be shared by most of the players watching, so make TK earn his money and answer them!!!!!!

    My reply to the min raise debate can be found on the other thread, so I'll just post some questions for Chris here.

    Questions

    1) How would you feel if 1 of the DTD events was named after yourself?

    2) Which forum member do you have the most difficulty moderating, and why?
