    just got in from my usual shopping night - hate it but got no choice - great to see chris on your panel - please say hello and tell him he is extremely photogenic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Min Raise question

    Out already in 16th

    You gave me the best hands I have ever had in such a tourney

    AA 5x
    KK 2x

    But (**** you Sky!) I only saw action on one of the hands, and just got a check raise out of it.

    Played very standard 3x bets but no callers or folded to the BB

    Maybe more action if I had min raised? When is it good to do this - I'm always worried about letting in someone who hits 2prs which I just don't see.

    Hi guys.

    Just got in and gutted ive missed the bounty hunter and the show :(

    Just a quick post on one of your questions tonight about min raising.

    Ive played cash poker for over 7 years and in all honesty i can hardly think of anytime where i would think that min raising is good, especially pre flop.

    In general if i see players min raising they auto go into the "bad player box" :)

    I think 3x is by far the best pre raise and on occasions 4 x if you know certain players are likely to call.

    I see alot of 5x raising pre by some of the sites regs and in all honesty dont like it because alot of the time your only taking the blinds and not getting action with your suited cons and small pps etc and the times you do get action if you dont hit you have wasted the cash as soon as you get resistence.

    The best advice i could give anyone about min raising though is DONT DO IT :)

    I take it you are referring to unraised pots pre flop Jenny?  If so I agree.  If you refer to all min raises I disagree.  The click-back is a great weapon if you know how and when to use it.

    didn't chris ferguson also advise to play on full tilt poker haha i still get stupid emails from them with tips to poker delete without reading
