    Cheers Doh,

I made a thread in A51 full of hands cos you weren't on msn.

    https://www.skypoker.com/secure/poker/sky_lobby?action=show_static&page=poker_community_forums&plckForumPage=ForumDiscussion&plckDiscussionId=Cat%3a57795ac2-1793-4377-b4cf-e124b0f555f4Forum%3acfaa1e55-eeab-43ac-8676-fefda40c87ceDiscussion%3a7ab6335c-9d3d-4040-a477-40e19b4872d7

Obviously, I'm not looking for individual advice on every hand, just if you can spot any trends... am I racing too much or is it right to be putting them to the test when I have an A or K and I've got 650-700 chips (and blinds are up a bit)?

This is pretty much every losing hand of over 200 chips in the last 7 days, minus a few tilty ones that I know are terrible. Dunno if you wanna talk to me about them on msn or by PM or something, if you wanna keep your thoughts private?

Cheers for the feedback on my hands JJ. It's almost a bit annoying that you were happy with pretty much all of it lol... Now I've got no excuse for not being in profit!

I thought I played them well, but I just seem incapable of winning any sort of race recently.

Well played on the Stephen Lee tip JJ!

I suppose that was Trott's fault though!

    April Update:

Played a couple hundred more games since last updated, tried 2 tabling the hypers and its amazing how much volume you can get in.

I won't update anymore until end of month now. Just hope I can keep this up because I'd have taken break even at the start of the month.

Got lucky in hu shonkament, got heads up having survived all in pre with 99 v KK with maybe 6 left.

exit hand was a bit of a shocker. I check the river to induce a bluff....

except it wasn't - he called for the gutterball ftw  -  wp gg

btw just realised it doesnt sound very sensible talking about getting heads up in a hu up shuffle tourney, but hopefully you know  i meant the final table...

    Bit confused here simon!

The advice on that thread works on my laptop, but not my PC.......bottom right to top left?

I've not played many shuffles yet, maybe 8/9, got 2 min cashes....

I don't have a problem building stacks, I've had chip leads deep into the tournys on 3/4 occasions approaching the bubble.

I think I'm re-shoving too light, too deep against players....

I'm assuming they're adapting their 3b ranges to HU play, but they're just not, and hands like A7/A8/A9/44/55/66/77 don't play very well all in pre flop against alot of players 3b ranges from like 20-25xbb stacks.

Maybe got to reign it in, and start raise/folding and bet/folding more.

I reckon I'll win 1 today (hope there's still plenty running, had 2 days off)

I think secret is to run really well, but yes just steal blinds and if they show the least sign of resistance assume theyve got a hand they'll go all the way with.  Also quite a lot of attempted trapping with their monster hands which was quite easy to play against.

Meh, first Shuffle of the day. Early double up as usual, with 13 left I was 2nd had to wait ages for another bustout, which was annoying.

Then my next opponent totally coolered me, here.....

Dunno what you think? On the turn I've gotta bet my equity, when it's highly likely he has air. If he floats overs I can get there, or barrell depending on the card.

When he snap raises, he tells me he's got a 9, so I think with implied odds I can call this deep.

    Meh @ the result.....

    HU shuffle, take 2!

Got a stack going again! Lost again!

This guy seemed to be decent, we were both quite shallow and his shove/folding ranges seemed to be good.

    Questionable call maybe??? Mehhhhh.......

str8 v str8 hand just a cooler and as you say with stack sizes - dont think you can play it any different.

I dont like calling the shove with JQs. I know he'll often turn up with worse and our equity is not bad against his likely range, but with a big chip lead I would definitely be looking for a better spot.

I think i should retire from these now, my record: played 2 with second and fourth place finishes.

What do you think is best to smash for C4P, hyper HU ?

I'd say DYM's because the rake is quite high and you can multi-table them far easier than HU SnG's. Although HU Hypers are a good alternative if you get bored of DYM's easily. IMO the rake is on the high side for these too, as it is in line with regular HU SnG's. Hope that helps :)

Yeah Hypers are good for C4P but very hard to multi-table. DYMs can be multitabled alot easier, Wouldn't fancy playing 6 hypers at once, infact I think it would be pretty horrible, but 6 DYMs would be pretty easy.

Obviously hammering cash is good for C4P if you're playing a high enough level

    Final April Update:

Didn't play last few days of April, so fell short of 1.5k games target. Below are my final stats for the month.

I've got to say I'm really pleased with those results, I didnt expect to win this much.

Before the start of April I had a losing record at HU sngs. I had never really played a sustained period of HU games and only used to dabble with them if i was having a few drinks. So I'm the opposite to doh in that respect.

Anyway I'm going to be playing £5.25s this month. I shalln't bore you with updates this month. (probably coz im due to lose)
