Hi All, I'm off to DTD too this weekend, it'll be good to finally put faces to peoples names. FlashFlush has even promised me a beer! TK, We did meet in Birmingham at the leg there. Was a great day out. Thanks for the advice other week in the deepstack.
Really toying withe idea of a direct buy in. Tikay, I sat next to you last year at one of the deepstack festivals at DTD last year, was a pleasure to mix with the pros for a very enjoyable tourney. Has there been a final count on the pros/celebs playing yet Tony??
Looks like DtD has closed registration 2 days before the tourney starts!!! Arrggh! Really bad to show max 250 the whole way and then close early on 214...really bad.
It's maxed out at 270 entrants. Looks like there might be a few pros there - that would be a shame as it's really a Sky event, but the prize fund will attract others, I guess.
The final is now sold out with 270 places sold both online and offline - A late rush for places overnight online and at DTD took us to the limit, and therefore we have had to close tournament to new players. It was always going to be a sell out, as are all our Sky Poker events. The Prize Pool is now a whopping £54,000 which will be won over two great days of poker.....

No chance might, I am as tight as a ducks wotsit! Anyway, looks like you have competition now, likes of Dave Colclough, Simon Trumper, Peter Conduit etc etc playing in it also, sigh.
54,000 smackeroos, now that is mouth watering! i was wondering who all the names on the dtd website were, looks like we have some local poker players making appearance.
Im suprised to see Simon Trumper to have his name down for playing... he is ment to be doing the commentary with Tikay !!! i think it is a compromise with DTD that they have their own satelites into the final if we play there, remember there being many locals on the 1st leg... just hope they dont win it, would put a downer on the whole thing, but im sure a sky regular will win it!!
