My quest to turn £51 into £1,051 on Sky Poker____ **** latest balance COMPLETED ****

On January 9th 2012 I’ll be starting a New Year bankroll challenge. My aim is to turn an account balance of £51 into £1,051 on the Sky Poker tables (ie a profit of £1,000) without making any deposits.
To give me added motivation I’ve decided to offer the following;
Free Competition

Make a guess of the date you think my challenge will end and post it here. I will award a £20+£2 Sky Poker tournament token to the closest guess. I’ll also donate the same sum (£22) to a charity of the winner’s choice. My challenge will end when I either reach my £1,051 target, or go busto, whichever happens first. The closing date for competition entries is midday on 9th January 2012.
How will it work?
On January 9th I’ll make a withdrawal that will leave exactly £51.00 in my Sky Poker account. I will then start my challenge, initially playing in micro-stakes STTs. When my balance grows sufficiently I’ll increase stakes and switch to mainly MTTs. I’m a tournament specialist and it’s highly unlikely I’ll play in cash games at any stage. Due to my work shifts I only play poker in the late morning and afternoon. At these times the fields are fairly small. It's very unlikely you'll see me entered in any of the bigger evening tournaments.
Throughout my challenge I intend to be a bankroll nit and stick to strict BRM rules to minimise the risk of going busto. I have decided to use a 40 buy-in rule; ie I will only enter a tournament if my account balance is at least 40x the buy-in. Any legitimate means of winning money will count. I intend to enter as many forum/Facebook/Twitter competitions as possible to try and win free tournament seats and I'll use my excess poker points to enter freerolls. My Cash for Points bonuses will probably be around £5 to £10 per month. Progress will be documented here, diary fashion with full results and latest balance.
Do you think you'll succeed?
I think my chances are pretty good. I’m a winning player on Sky Poker and have made a consistent profit since I joined just over 2 years ago. The danger period is the early stages when my balance will be well below my comfort level. If I run badly when I start the challenge there’s a risk my balance could drop towards zero. If this happens I'll play at the lowest stakes only and stick to low variance games like DYMs. If I can successfully grow my balance to say £200 I think the danger of going busto becomes very low and eventual success is almost certain. However, if my account balance does fall to zero at any stage this quest is over and I have failed.
How long do you think it'll take?
Several months if I succeed. I play at a relatively low volume compared to many players, and I’m going to be playing in micro/low stakes daytime tournaments throughout. Big individual wins are unlikely due to the small field sizes. A slow steady growth will be my aim. If I run badly at the start and go on tilt (hopefully not!) there’s a risk I could go bust and it’ll be over fairly quickly.
