Backing Donald to be top European. With his foursome (unbeaten) and four-ball record, added to the fact it's his home track and hit form last week 6/1 is a very fair price. Also backing Snedeker to be top US rookie. Again with his lethal putting/recent form, guaranteed to be in the 1st mornings foursomes and afternoon four-balls. Finally, two correct score bets, 14 - 14 and 14.5 to 13.5 to Europe. COME ON BOYS!!!!

Here's another 'good thing'... Westwood to hit the 1st tee shot for Europe, 5/2 with skybet... Reasons:-

    1) There maybe 12 players but only 4 or 5 would be considered for this honour.

    2) He was in the 1st group on the 1st morning at Celtic Manor

    3) He is likely to take over as the 'talisman' from Monty

    4) If he is in the 1st group, 2 of the 3 par 3's are on odd numbered tees, playing to his superior iron play

wow 10/3 for Brandt i DO find that hard to beleive!!! maybe both he and what you said about westwood could be worth a double (if not classified as 'special' single bets.)

im a huge keegan fan but no way i could be having any of the 3 others against him. when the times right and IF webb were to gather a couple of shots lead on the sunday in his single match, against whoever, then ill be tempted to have a tidy play on his opponent. the better he starts the worse he gets, have noticed this about him on more than one occasion, came from right off the pace in US open and im still of the opinion Furyk lost it rather than he won it, was in clubhouse and all. think the pressure gets to this one, and dufner has previous as well. think keegan copes well with pressure and id expect him to fair best out of the other 3.

After seeing the draw for the morning foursomes it's advantage Europe for me.Think we will definately win at least 2 of the games if not 3,or the lot even.Westwood and Molinari is my biggest worry.
So gonna back us to be 3-1 up after the morning.

In Response to All things Ryder Cup - (re named at Dohhhh's request):
Anyone fancy trying to predict tomorrow mornings pairings? I'll go for Westwood/Molinari then Donald/Garcia then Mclroy/McDowell and Poulter/Rose as rear gunners. Not sure how anyone can say the US have a stronger team looking at those pairings. As for the US, I'll guess they'll go Mickleson/Bradley then Watson/Simpson Woods/Stricker finally Snedeker/Johnson
    Posted by joesman1

Any prizes for correctly guessing Europe's pairings?? Shame I got 1st & 3rd wrong way round. The US was harder to predict but got the two easy ones in.

I think the 1st and 2nd matches are shoe ins. . And also Westwood and Molinari should take care of their match. So 3 - 1 or even 3.5 - 1.5 to Europe??

Yeah true Mr Bell. Perfect scenario (cos I'm backing the Irish boys) is for Sneds to lose but play well, be Furyk's fault, and so be picked for afternoon four-balls, and other rookies lose too.

Sigh only 23/1 this morning. Why do they do that?

Draw in the last game in to 9/2 from 6/1 overnight, how could anything have changed?? :@:@:@ grrr.

Need to start putting bets on when I see them instead of waiting until the last minute.

    -------------------------

I hope both teams all wear the same colour btw. Hate seeing shots and not knowing who it is.

    Red v Blue plz :) !
