Amazing progress dazler this is a truely inspirational thread and anyone who complains about it being hard to grind from low amounts just needs to take a look here!

Surely so far you are actually progressing faster than chris ferg? You should graph your progress vs his =).

    Keep up the excellent work!

ty cgoldie for you kind words of support its a good point you make about looking at my progress to his and just found this article which pretty much summs it up of how i have been doing it. ill see if i can find a graph of his progression.

Infact its pretty much right on the ball with the way ive approached it:

    http://pokerworks.com/poker-strategy/beginner-poker-strategy/chris-ferguson-turns-0-into-10-000-on-full-tilt-poker.html

so the challenge is to do it faster than him ;) heres hopin lol. I am finding that because im not really taking many risks with my br and because ive set a challenge im being more stuctured and more diciplined. The main area i think im making a profit is small sessions of cash which seem to bump it up at the end of the night after ive had a few good cashes in sit n goes or gone deep in a torny and cashed a small amount, which then allows me to play a couple of buy ins on the cash tables. I started out on the 2/4p only buying in for £2 but will prob move this up now to the max of £4 to get full value against apponents. With MTT's im only buying in for a max of £3.30 now which is rare and generaly sticking to the 1.20 buy ins if ive had a good day and only playing 1 or 2 per night as a treat, if i can get a big win in one of those its a bonus.

One thing i would say that hasnt been good is the hours ive put in, because i have got extremely tired a couple of times and this has made me lose concentration quite a bit and i would be on a considerable amount more so a good nights sleep and playing while im fresh and revitalised is def a change i will be making.

Just out of interest of anyone who reads this thread would you like to see interesting hands ive been ivolved with or not, i know some people dont like cut and past hands but if people are interested im more than happy to do so if not i wont?

Bless you all at the tables and may you run like jesus :) allllll innnnnn

Blimey, Ferguson took 7 months just to get to $6.50, you're miles ahead of his early progress.

    Ferguson's start...

" It took more than seven months of steady play until he got his bankroll to stabilize at about $6.50. "

    Great going!

Erm guys "Former PokerWorks' blogger Michael Craig, who now writes a blog for FTP, watched as Ferguson achieved the milestone in a $10-$20 NLHE game."

Ferguson was breaking his own rules.... "He never bought into a cash game or a sit-n-go with more than 5 percent of his total bankroll"

havnt done so well in stt either but managed to qualify into the 6k open tonight for half the buy in price so crossed fingures and toes would be great to cash in that.

Really cant believe the cards that have come out today against me when im in ahead dosnt matter if its pk As which have lost around 7 times today, st8s, flushes, anything and everything has been against me especialy to the bad calls im getting.

I usualy love the bad standards of players and use it to my advantage but cant when you have luck like this against you everygame lol.

This is my only gripe cos i do wanna stay positive and put it down to a bad day and not a uuuherrrmmm softnightware!. Anyways im gonna take a break from it today and shoot some bad guys on the old xbox to relieve the tension. and make a fresh start tomorrow.
