I believe it was won by Mark, aka Sara36DD08.

Good to share Tables with you for a while last night, by the way, & well done on cashing.

Good try, but no. Further north than that.

Heysham Power Station is in my Top 5 UK Power Stations, though, I adore it. Very happy memories of a night in a Caravan near there, too, but I'm afraid the tale is a bit off-Message for this forum.

PS - I'll have all the TSP lads together on Saturday (or I hope I willl!), & so I'll try again to get that SNG set up. Once I get them to agree a date, I just have to find a way to find a "locked" Table then.  Sorry for the delay, this one's been "challenging".

Dear Tikay ... not a question but a bit of own trumpet blowing !!!!

Just to let you know that I'm enjoying the best poker week of my life.

Tuesday .. won the TSP Classic after taking 18,000 chips off Ed Giddins on the way

Thursday ... 2nd in the TSP Classic, albeit after having a healthy chip lead heads up. (well played "Machina")

As well as that, I'm unbeaten at 33 and 55 DYMs for 2 days. My bankroll has increased fivefold.

And, if that's not enough, I have won a place in the TOT on Monday via scouse-red. (Thanks for that)

Fantastic stuff that, Inka, well done, & keep it going.

The 2 TSP Classic scores are well good, that Tourney takes some beating, there's not much "value" in it, as the standard is pretty high, imo.

You may - or may not..... be interested to know that MereNovice sent me a sort of "League Table" for the TSP Classic for the whole of February. The usual suspects figured very high in it, solly, direwolf, dollie, etc, but the runaway "best average performance" was from a guy called "Mickgil". He must be quite handy.

See if you can outdo him in March. go on, there's your target.

Good luck man, & well done.

Thanks.   Not sure I can play enough times to challenge Mickgil but I may try.   Yes, the field is tough but maybe that makes me change my game a little and I think I now know how to approach that critical 2nd hour of the tournament, where I usually fail. Hope these aren't famous last word.

    Thanks again.

Hi Tikay, one technical question re the rake on sky poker. Why is it 7.5% on the lower limit tables and 5% when you play higher? i understand the need for rake (its a commercial business after all) but i dont see why lower stakes players are "punished" the most. it costs the same to "run the table" whether the stakes are 1p/2p or £5/£10. obviously the profit's a lot smaller but players have to start somewhere and if like me you enjoy playing heads up at lower stakes table that extra 2.5% can make a big difference over time. is it really necessary/moral to charge the people who can least afford it the most to play the same game? will be interested to hear your thoughts. thanks, Ian

Thanks Martin, it was tremendous fun, & my eventual Exit in the Main Event was a comedy of errors!

A most enjoyable evening, & I had some good table companions all evening, plenty of banter.

Please could you tell me the rules on using skype while sat at a poker table.

I have just witnessed on a £1.50/£3 table 2 1 person asking another to go onto skype.

Surerly there should be rules against this to prevent collusion during games.

    thanks

    Hi

It is probably because tikay does not have anything to do with that side of poker, so is outside his remit
