Is it me or do most of the players unable to navigate the registraiton system on team Tikay?? Just a genuine question intended to subtly highlight the inadequacies of your team Tony.... :-) Posted by Dingdell
Good day Miss Dell.
Here's my subtle statement in return. Re-arrange these letters into an appropriate phrase.

Nope it's not. On the Orford thread we have victory songs, talk of victory and how we will celebrate.
On the Tikay thread there are questions like 'Am I in?' which if you have to ask is a very bad question on many levels....
But no ill feeling intended, good luck to all of the Tikay Tortoises.
The registration format was cleverly introduced by The Right Honourable Sir Richard Orford as an initiative test. He quite rightly deduced that anyone who didn't know their own name would be inducted into the vastly under-subscribed Tikay camp.

Yes - because everyone wanted to be on Team tikay. Team Orford only got three votes, the rest of his Team are my cast-offs.

Tikay - have u ever followed up the chat about PNL?? I loved that programme and would love to hear what attributed its demise. Posted by phil12uk
Not yet Phil, my apologioes, the TKO thing has knocked me a bit sideays with the amount of work it created for me via questions & PM's, & I have also had a little issue to deal with elsewhere which was somewhat time-consuming.
Hello, I have been watching poker on TV for a few years now and have decided to take the leap and try my hand at online poker. What is the best way to start playing? I have entered a few freerolls and came 90th out of about 700 over the weekend, others I crash out really early. Paul Posted by paulshep23
Hi Paul,
How much can you afford to spend, even lose, per week? That will help me formulate a way forward for you.
In the meantime, do you read, & ask questions, on our Poker Statrategy Section? You can ask ANY question on there, no matter how basic, & you won't get flamed, this is Sky Poker, but you will get lots of helpful replies.
Let me know the answer to my first question please, & we'll work from there.
is the tko password protected, as i voted 4 to be on your team and i don't know if i can play in it as haven't got e-mail confirmation yet? Posted by BCOOL
As I have never played live......where would you suggest to go and try live out?. It has to be in london .....preferably north Posted by COCASIRF
On that criteria, the only Venue I could possibly recommend - & in this case, not strongly - is The Vic, in Edgware Road. I assume Luton is too far?
There are very few Licensed Casinos/Cardrooms in North London, indeed all of London, & none that I would recommend someone inexperienced visiting.
Of the unlicensed rooms in London, or "semi-licensed", the only one I would recommend is "Equal Chance" in St James St, Walthamstow. I woild deffo not recommend any others, indeed I strongly advise against visiting them.

PS - Victory songs? Bit early for that, I'd say.
We are grown-ups, so we plan to GIQ.
I'll do the PNL thing though, don't worry.

[QUOTE]What do you think of Bob Safai as a player, and as a man?

I don't know him personally, so I'm afraid I can't offer an opinion.
He's the guy who appears on HSP, I assume?
