WE need Sky-Rich to answer that waller, but I THINK everyone is AUTOMATICALLY entered for the whole TKO Series.

    Await Sky-Rich's confirmation, please.

Sorry I could not reply when you asked me - at Table - but it's kinda awkward.

You did just great Dave - but to be fair, so did everybody tonight.

Every single player was a credit to Sky Poker.

I don't care what other Sites do, this is my home for good now, & I'm mighty proud of our players.

    Poker for the people.

I had an absolute ball, all for free, I won five quid - but can't remember enjoying myself so much.

Fair play to the losers - Team Orford - too. They were good, but were outclassed on the night.

In Response to How would you play aces in Sit and Go - DYM:
6 handed early on in S&G small blinds 25/50 last to act pre flop SLOW PLAY or ALL IN?
    Posted by noviceplay
    Neither!

No point going all-in - we want a bit of action, or we only win the Blinds. I am assuming everyone else has Passed, except the Blinds.

The standard line here is.....(this involves LEAST risk).

You have the Buttton, so you MIGHT get 2 Callers if you Pot Bet - 175 - but that's the risk. We must not Limp here, unless we know exactly what we are doing, & are prepared to let go easily if it goes wrong.

The lairy line is to Limp - greater risk, but it might pay off.

But whatever way you choose - be careful, & don't be afraid to pass them if the Flop or Turn action gets very heavy. beware particularly of co-ordinated boards - all one Suit (which you don't have), or....

    2 or 3 Paint cards

    Running cards (6-7-8 etc).

These are all possible/likely "2 pair" hands, or someone hits a big draw.

Hidden sets are a danger too, the only clue is the betting pattern.

In summary, a winning player can Pass Aces to strong betting here, & still win the SNG, but most players are unable to ever let go of Aces. BIG mistake.

Aces are not much use early doors, but are the bees knees late on.

In Response to Re: Ask Tikay? : The Caller - in this case the only guy left in the Hand - HAS to show to claim the pot here, IMO. It can be argued both weys, but I don't see the problem in showing. I'm assuming they DID first see a Flop, Turn & River? And it was a Cash-game? If a Tourney, & the money went in Pre, or on the Flop or Turn, the Dealer should not deal the Flop/Turn/River until BOTH Hands are OTB. Does that answer the Question?

Yes it did thanks, and i did forget to say it was showdown. :)

Hi  Ask TK   I'm Annie,  newbie at Sky Poker and at present playing in Freeplay learning the ropes. I have been told there is nothing to be gained playing there, as everyone goes all in, all in, all the time, and the best way to learn is to play  sit and go tables. I have tried the 30p 60p a few games now and found that I have hand history for these  but none for freeplay. However I do feel there are sensible players in freeplay and I have gained experience there. I have enjoyed some good games but cant look back at my mistakes.  If there is no hand history available in freeplay would there be in Freerolls if I play them. Or am I looking in the wrong place for freeplay history. ty annie x

    Hi Annie,

Why asre you called "logdon", if I may ask?

I'm not 100% sure, but I'm pretty certain that Freerolls DO have Hand Histories.

    May I make a suggestion?

We are doing something called TKO, which is a £500 Freeroll, and it runs every Tuesday for about 5 weeks. The first one was last night, & the Winning "Team" gets free entry into a £1,000 Freeroll.

The Tournaments are regular structures, & you get to play all the regulars. I'm pretty sure you can still join one or other of the two Teams - why not try that?

There are two Teams of Players - Team "LuckBox" Orford & Team tikay, & despite last night's nail-biting disaster, I highly recommend you join Team tikay. You'd be very welcome.

Hi Tikay  Thank you for the invite to join your team [I cant believe your that desperate] but I will have to decline this offer. I dont have full use of the home computer and have to share it with hubby who plays on another site. His play times clash with games on here. If the computer is free on the day and time I will put my name down.   You asked me about my name and why I chose "logdon" what a disaster, it was a mix up with log on name and user name I got them round the wrong way. having a girlie moment. I was told I cant change it. It's not a problem as I've got used to it now. You can see why your lucky not to have me on your team maybe you should send me to Richards as a Trojan horse.  Well, it will soon be Christmas and I hope Father Christmas is bringing me a brand new lap top just for me to play on .  I've dropped enough hints.!  Hope your team win the next game you can't go 2 down to Orfords team. Suppose that now makes me team TK.   Good luck at the tables. Annie x

Is there any way sky could issue team avatars for these games?

    or

if the team captains posted an avatar for thier team members to download and  use for these games.

Now that sounds a good idea - if we all used a "common" Avatar, we'd easily know who was who! But that's one for Those Upstairs.

Another way to tell who is in what Team is who won the Pot.

Good idea Phil, that was the one thing in last nights tourny that was missing, altho I was lucky enough to dump all my chips onto a Lord Orford team member.

Sorry Tikay I know you have been complimentary about a couple of my posts, but somehow when I came to select the team, a train went by and I jumped and next thing I know I was in the masters team :)
