Hi Tikay I am new to sky poker and like the community spirit very much. My question is this: is computer generated poker fullproof. The reason I ask is this, I played a hand of texas hold'em tournament on the 27th Jan 2012 (the game number was 470008981) I had Jack & King of Hearts, my opponant had Thee of Diamonds & three of Spades The community cards were nine of Spades, eight of hearts, three of Clubs, ten of Hearts & ace of Hearts, This gave me an ace flush & my opponant trip threes, The computer made him the winner why ? I have deciphered the hand you posted and I think I see the reason you did not win...

Tikay, did you enjoy my 2 6 of clubs binking a flush on the river against your blind all in with a set of Jacks? Posted by SUPERSNEDD
Well, you know, it was rather com, yes, you totally outplayed me there, Sneddy! Enjoy it? I enjoy everything about poker, the losses & beats just as much as the wins. It was a fun table, & a fun evening, the result was irrelevant to me, I had a great night, & a great weekend.
Given that I had exactly ONE Big Blind, & I had "jammed" them - sorry, it - all-in "blind", I was in fact pleasantly surprised to find I had pocket Jacks which had setted up.
I thought you played it superbly, though, checking pre, flop, turn, & river. Pure genius, very yoyo-esque.
LOL - Yeah it was a great laff. Those side events with about 4 or 5 sky regs on each table are always a nice friendly warm up to the main, it all makes for a great weekend. Can't wait for the next one - GlasVegas here we come Posted by SUPERSNEDD
The whole weekend was terrific fun, I thought, eveyone had a ball, & there was almost no bad blood, whooping, hollering, or table banging, either.
I was proud of all the Sky Poker players in particular, as G-Luton is my "regular", & a lot of my friends were present, & they were very complimentary about the play & demeanour Sky Poker players.
PS - I'm liking your photographic memory to remember the hand exactly, rather impressive. Posted by SUPERSNEDD
That's just a geeky OCD-ness I have, though I would add that I am, or have been, part of 4 or 5 major poker forums, for the best part of 10 years, and I have yet to post a Hand History once on any of them, & I never will. There's a limit to my geekyness, & HH's are just too much even for me, they make my eyes bleed. Truly.
just like to thank you all for a great weekend two 3rds now out of 5 tours so defo back after that 1st place but couldnt go to a better person wot a true gent julian is keep up the great work and once again thankyou

Very gracious of you, TIMBER.
I actually thought you might just do it when you were three-handed, you were getting pushed around a bit by Jules & Shaun, then you started playing back at them, & at one stage, you fought your way into 2nd place, but then you got a little unlucky. Must be said, Thewy is relentless when he has chips. They say "he gets lucky", but he just keeps the pressure on, hand after hand, & makes it so difficult to play.
Still, even in defeat, there is always something to savour. How much did you enjoy that flop of 5-2-2, when you were holding, umm, 5-2?! Then Jules hit his 2nd pair, & against a lesser player, you might just have got a full double-up there.
Hi Tony, Alan here....finished 7th on Sun Luton. I was so disappointed not to finish higher etc....but sitting next to the great Julian was an honour.... I really enjoyed the two days, you did a great job on the commentary with the odd joke thrown in here & there. I thought Sky put on a fantastic show & it was great to be part of it. Thanks allot for a good fun time, im determined to make ammends in Brighton....lol

Thank you, Alan.
"make amends"? 7th & a good few bob was not so dusty, & 190+ players would have gladly swapped with you!
I had my eye on you from 3 or 4 tables out, & I thought you played just great, nobody could quite work you out, & it was a very fine effort.
As to Thewy, Sky Poker are very lucky indeed to have him, he loves the SPT weekends, & is the perfect Ambassador for us, a proper decent bloke. In the last 9 months alone, he has taken down the £1,000 entry Monte Carlo, the Coventry GUKPT, & now an SPT. He must get "lucky" a lot, eh?.....;)
Not sure if I'll be in Brighton or Glasgow yet, but hopefully I'll see you again soon, & next time it may be you that I present with the Comedy Cheque!
Just like to say thankyou to the sky poker team for a fantastic SPT Luton. I came 6th in the tournie and realy enjoyed playing the event and the Final table. Julian Thew is a fantastic player and also a real Gent. Also congratulations to 1972 amazing comeback although i think he will admit he got a tad lucky lol. Didnt think i could do much more on final table and was very happy with my own play. All of this still came second to be interviewed by the gorgeous Anna Fowler though. I am sad to say i will not be attending any more SPT events this year as am moving to Thailand for a year to teach but i will be playing online. I look forward to playing the events in the future though. Tim Sutton
Tony, i take great satisfaction in you saying i was hard to work out.... Thanks......i work hard on trying to mix up, but as you know better than most, timing is a massive factor..

A man after my own heart, regardless of how fascinating, how bad a beat or how thoroughly nice a person posts a hand history I am immediately struck with that thousand yard stare. Im gone, its tumbleweed time. Probably missing a trick and could learn something, but I'll take that risk, hasn't done you any harm...
I have a short attention span but then again if you ever see me typing lol, rofl and pmsl after a reposte you have my permission to take me out back and put me down like a rabid dog.

Well Machka has sorted it our for us, bravo him. You FOLDED your hand (you did not "call") on the flop, when "jb840" bet.

Good luck with your poker anyway, and hope you continue to post on the forum.
For some reason , some of us struggle posting hands if we are on Chrome or Firefox, I always switch to IE to make sure they come out ok.
