Yes mate- solid opening effort but Drumahai has edged it at the mo.

    90 mins left.

I've just signed up to the £22 10.45pm game, but you can post a big ROi with any amount of buy-in, just hceck the lobby for the next timed tournament.

But remember, it must have finished by 12.05am.

    Great stuff, Trev.

Left your entrance till late, but what an entrance!

I'm still battling away in the 10.45- if I can hold on another 10 minutes I should have a decent ROI to post.

Picked up a straight flush along the way- although it was overkill- I'd won the pot with my standard flush on the turn.

30 mins left everyone- good luck!

    Lol!

I finally lasted all the way through a tourney tonight- limping in 8th out of 8 in the 60 minute £22 for a prize of...£20.70!

So, I cashed, but ended up making a loss. Go figure.

    Eventual ROI?

    MINUS 5.9%

    Loving it.

Good luck in the final few minutes, everyone. Trev looks to have got this thing wrapped up, but you neevr know! Someone might sneak in a monster jus after midnight.

Check back here around 12.10am for the official result!

Doesn't beat my last one but at least it's a return on my investment - nudge nudge wink wink Rich :)

    Good Effort though Rich.

Look like we have ourselves a winner!

Well done PokerTrev- terrific late win with 490%.

You're in tomorrow night's 12K Sky Sports Bounty Hunter.

Good luck in that and hope you cash.

Thanks to everyone who played and hopefully we'll do it again soon. Watch this space!

Psst! Wanna easy shot at landing a seat into tomorrow night's main event?

    Listen up!

All you've got to do is record the biggest profit in a single timed tournament between 7pm till midnight tonight.

    That's it!

It's a really fun challenge and you can give it as many goes as you want.

The prize for the player who beats the rest tonight?

A free seat into tomorrow night's 12K Sky Sports Bounty Hunter! (which we'll be covering on the live Sky Poker TV show)

Here's what you'll need to do-

As soon as you've cashed in a timed tourney tonight- cut and paste proof on to this thread and then calculate your Return On Investment (ROI) below- like this:

    Machka705011£17.62
    £400 Gtd 30 mins

    Buy-in £5.50

    Prize- £17.62

    Profit= £12.12  (£17.62 - £5.50)

    divided by the buy-in (£5.50)

    = 2.20

multiplied by 100 to give a percentage

    = 220%

So, it doesn't matter how low the buy-in is, or how long the timed tournament goes on for, because only the ROI is important!

You can keep recording scores all night. I'll just take the single best individual result from all entries as the winner at midnight.

Last time PokerTrev took the honours with a solid score of 490%

But you should post- even if it's only a small ROI because you never know how many people will enter and, as a result, if you're lowly score might turn out to be the best one.

So, do you think you have what it takes to be the champion of timed tournaments?

Only one way to find out!

I'll be on the site from 7pm myself playing timed tourneys and Mastercash tables till midnight.

See you there and good luck!

Ok everyone-new night. Clean slate. New round of the comp.

See the above post (or opening post) for details. it's a cinch though- cash in a timed tourney before midnight and you have every chance of landing a seat into tomorrow's main event Bounty hunter.

    Extra value ftw!

With seconds to go I took a gamble to double up my chips and increase my cash prize but was called and beaten, meaning I crashed out just before the end of the tournament. But I was happy with the tactical gamble.

I'm next signed up for the 8.20pm £5.50 30 min £400 GTD timed tourney.

    And we're off...

    Machka4512.5023£6.77
    £200 Gtd 30 mins

    Buy-in £3.30

    Prize- £6.77

    Profit= £3.47  (£6.77 - £3.30)

    divided by the buy-in (£3.30)

    = 1.051

multiplied by 100 to give a percentage

    = 105%

    Nice one Aaron.

105% - decent starter, but easily, easily beatable.

You know what to do, folks. You have 4 hours to do it in!
