In Response to Re: My best ever moment in poker... : Good thanks, I withdrew the whole lot the next day (rounded up to £1K) and have never needed to deposit since. It was perfectly timed because the walk had cost me quite a lot of money (more than £1K). Posted by GaryQQQ
LOL i should read these its gets me dreaming haha well done tho 990 for 4th in a tournament is a great achievement
I had the pleasure of being sat to the right of Sam Tricket in a tournament at poker in the park last year. I say pleasure, it was quite hard going. He had quite a sizeable last-longer with his mate as I recall. Very nice chap.
winning a freeroll to the 2003 aussie millions...i think my roar woke up most of the street, very exciting, & jock, it's all noted down in my little black book )) Posted by yoyo
Had to read this twice, then the thought occurred that we may use our little black books for different purposes.
My most memorable would have to be being the chip leader in the UKIPT Nottingham day 1C being honest.
Although in online terms i think this is a more satisftaction based memory and achievement, I found on another website a 128 max HU shoot-out tournament winner takes all with a $2 buy in. Gvave it a try one day made the semis and busted.
The next day i debated with Dohhhh about it and registered, he said even Phil Ivey wouldnt win this often and i had no chance. I went on to win it for $256.
