Only been playing for less than a year but still a few highlights......
1. Getting to Survivor Final from monday in first week i played here.
2. Winning my first ever live tournament at a Liverpool casino 8 days after reading Harrington's vol 1 book. My girlfriend watched online at the final table download but fell asleep when i was in the final three!!!!
3. Going around vegas to see the poker rooms esp monte carlo casino (lovely room) where we had a nice chat and some pics taken with the pit boss there.( I did play at the Stratosphere but didn't enjoy it as much.
4 Getting a couple of mentions and a post of the night on the Sky progs plus Tikay saying that i had a good attitude towards the game. Nice man as are all of the team...
5. Seeing people willing to help each other on the forum.
6. Still getting a buzz from the complexities of improving my play at the game and not allowing relatively small losses or wins to affect my enjoyment of it.
1/ Making the final table on the old £220 buyin monthly deepstack events after sateliting for £2.20 and still bubbling the money with decent stack on what would have been my biggest cash (about £700 for 5th) - AK vs AQ AIPF - The turn came a queen - Gutted
Best
2/ On a happier note winning the old TSP classic after again sateliting in for £2.20 and having it filmed on the old 30 minute shows by Orford and Giddins - Still got it on Sky plus - Knocked Orford out on the way which was nice -
(about 155 players for £420 but treated myself to the £33 Bounty hunter the next night (Thursday) and was 2nd of 9 only to finish in 9th from 465 players - really should have done better in that)
seems a long time ago - more happy times to come hopefully
Just remembered as the forum has been mentioned - winning the Apprentice forum tourney was pretty cool - pity in never ran again - still waiting for prize but belive its being sorted -hint hint TK
Mine has to be turning up to rail Ian MacMonster at the recent UKIPT in Nottingham where he took 8th place, having a pleaseant afternoon a bit of blackjack and a couple of beers with him and soaking up the atmosphere before buying into Dusk til Dawns evening tournament and taking it down for just over £1000.00

Due to stack size and ever increasing blinds I keep shoving from position at which point Tikay says...
"He's an animal".
Will never be eclipsed.
