Hi everyone One of the things that Sky Poker is known for is a strong UK community of players. We do have players from elsewhere but mainly we are a UK poker site. We'd be interested to see your thoughts on the pro's and cons's of this please. What's good and bad about this? Thanks Sky Poker Posted by Sky_Poker
the more the better imo, as already mentioned, more players=more money, everyone,s a winner. i play cash else where and tbh i have found it quite easy taking those foreigners dollars. "bring it on" (* *) " ^ devon
God questo. Imust sy tat at te moment, like th wy it is now.Would the cmmuniyt suffer? Woud the abuse get worse? Would the friendliness reduce in the chat box?
I do think that Sky would be perfect to try and crack the US market and I hope they have someone looking into it.
I would assume that there are people higher up at the Sky group who would have contacts with some US lobbyists which could help.
The power of the Sky brand and more importantly the fact that Sky have always complied with local laws and legislation with regards to online poker is so much massively in their favour...they have never done anything wrong with regards to the US, unlike various of the companies who are trying to get a US licence....plus the financial backing of the overall company of Sky probably equates to every other major poker site COMBINED.
One of the most important things is how Sky always promotes responsible gaming too.
Someone get on the case! I'll be more than happy to do some shows in the USA should you open a US Channel
