Bit of a quandary today as presently over 100 points profit on Royal ascot this year but no strong fancies for Saturday racing there. So going all over the place to trry and get winners,

iii- 2.45 NEWMARKET- MAX LEIBERMANN - 5-1 Been following the exploits of this one for a little while and he won at Yarmouth recently with first two well clear. When this trainer gets a winner he can usually plan another one and extra distance shouldnt be a problem for 2m bumper winner. LOST never in it and now THE SECRETS OUT
ii- 5.50 REDCAR - MISS DD 7-1- Has run some good races over 5f and last run was over 6f which was too far, back on class and distance and already backed in from 14-1 LOST

Missed one today , FIRST FLIGHT beat MONSIEUR JIMMY by 7 lengths last week so MJ's trainer claimed it from that race. Won easily today at 18-1 . The moral of the story, if the trainer of the second in a claimer buys the winner he expected his to win and knows how good the winner is. Noticed this has worked three or four times over the last year or so.
iiii- 4.30 YORK - FENDALE 8-1 - Strange to select a horse in a jmp jockeys race but a lot of these riders not had much good flat racing experience and not for the trainers they riding for today. One who has is Graham Lee and riding for regular trainer in Brian smart. Also this horse was one of Jason Weaver's shark attacks recently and he certainly thinks there was a plan for a win with this horse around this time. Hopefully today is the day.
