None of us have jobs?

I was sat here today thinking about how many people post on this forum regularly throughout the day.

There are a few, and they're not good enough to be pros/play stakes too small. Without naming names they are avid posters in GPC and the Clinic. Very avid.

I was wondering if they're actually on the dole or not and how can they afford to sit on Sky all day when they clearly don't make a living from it. I then thought maybe they are students but it seems like they're all quite old.

So, what do we all do for a living? 

I'm a student due to start at Edinburgh uni Looking to go into horticulture and stuff.

I'm a self-employed milkman, my average working week is 55 hours, I'm up at 1-30am every day except Sundays.

Wow that sounds like a long slog. I always thought milkmen were done for 6am then off to the golf club for the rest of the day! You do an actual milk round then? Not seen a 'proper' milk man for ages.

Semi-Retired after having been made redundant 5 years ago. Now just have a small part time job at Sainsburys (12 hours a week)

I'm a local newspaper reporter. Working around 10 hrs a day and every other weekend doesn't leave as much time as I would like for poker. 

I'm usually too knackered for the night time tourneys during the week so free weekends is all about the poker (and football!) for me.

My fiance works in a well known branch of UK pubs (the biggest, in fact) and you're living his dream!

I work 9-5 for British Gas but have worked hard to get a job where you don't get treated like a child, so am able to use the internet during my working day as long as I don't take the P....

I work for citylink in there warehouse sorting all your boxes you order lol. I work from 12-00 till 8am 6 days a week night shift. We get 6 lorrys in a night. Normally around 6000boxes

IMO work is something you do to fund the rest of your life. If you enjoy it then great!

hi died,
i have a small window cleaning round & work with my brother.
have been since 1992....20 yrs still,i've nearly got the hang of it.  lol
money's ok but not great but with any luck i am hoping to make a few bob from playing dym's,hence the reason i'm here playing most days.   lol
don't work as many hours as i used to as i will be 53 this sunday infact, so i make no opologies for that.

Lol, no I'm not a plumber.

I work in the corporate side of the company, dealing with general pricing and contract issues for corporate customers. It certainly could be a jbo for the rest of my life, but as you say, I think working is just a way to fund your life, so for me the only major difference it would to me if I won the lottery or something like that would be that I'd quit work.

I don't 'enjoy' work as such, it's as enjoyable as a job can be I guess, I really like the people on my team and it's quite a relaxed working environment, and pays well but yeah, bring on retirement!!

Without commercialism none of us would be working. Work as we know it was something that came along out of a necessity to earn money in order to pay for things. If you can do something you like to achieve this, great, if not, tough - you've still gotta earn though.

I won't get into this debate though cause it's not the place for it!

90% of people working would quit their job in a second if they binked the Euromillions.

I`m a student studying sport and fitness but I did work full time doing sales for around 6yrs since I left school and was sick of it and went to college last year to get a new career.
