Dan Brown - dantb10 - progressed smoothly into Day Two of the $1,500 Event.

Of the field of over 2,800, only 376 made it through Day One, of which 276 wil get paid.

Come on, give this guy some support PLEASE - Post your Good Luck messages here.

It's a TREMENDOUS effort by Dan, who was down to about 1,000 chips after running A-K into A-A on a K-high flop.

Lrt's hear it for our man!

    My steam-driven Lappie is struggling to Post the Chip Counts, give me a bit of time please, the folks in London are helping me.

    There were 2,818 Entries, 376 survived Day One, & 297 will get paid.

    First prize is......$673,276.

    Come on guys, let's large it up for our man!

    2,800 runners, only 370 survived, he was down to 1,100 at one stage, & now he's in with a great shout in his first ever WSOP Event.

    It's a stunning effort. & I'm very, very, proud of him.

    These messages of support mean a great deal to Dan. He's a poker geek, & he's living the dream, & so I am sending him photographs & "memoribilia" for him to put in his memory scrapbook when he gets home. 

    He's just done a lovely Interview for us, & then I sneaked him into the Media Centre so he could have a good look at the Chip situation, to better judge his strategy today. Play does not re-commence until 2pm (10pm UK) today.

    The filmed Interview we just did with Dan will be up on the "WSOP" section of the Website later today, once it's been Edited, Uploaded, Downloaded & Side-Loaded. Enjoy.

    Awesome- he's outlasted Phil Helmuth.There's something to stick on the old poker c.v. if nothing else!

    Rooting for you Dan- really want to see one of the guys win one to put Sky Poker on the world poker map.

    Great updates Tikay- even saw photos on your blog today of you holding a microphone. Does that mean you've actually started DOING SOME WORK? I'll only believe it when I get confirmation from at least 3 different sources...

    You can read it here now for a review of day 1 and a preview of Day 2 which begins in around 30 mins time at 2pm local time, 10pm UK time.
