I've removed that part out, should I print the letter out now and post it to the casino?

Hi Craig, maybe better to get someone to write it for you, casinos are very careful about incidents at the tables and someone that has experience here would be able to draft the letter for you. There seems to be too much negative detail in your draft.

It would be great if someone could draft the letter for me and make it as good as it can be to help me get back into Aspers casino. Aspers casino is extra special, it's early start on the cash tables mean l can have a long period on the cash tables and still make my way back home without having to get a taxi, the other thing about Aspers casino is this will be the place I believe will host any SPTs held in the north east.

I did attempt to do a letter to the casino back in 2016 but most of that wording was done by myself and no suprise it got me nowhere.

    Craig.

1 problem that people with your condition have is that you tend to overthink things. I'm sure oynutter is genuinely trying to help, but it is just unnecessarily complicating matters.

You have drafted something from your perspective-a few people have taken the time and trouble to provide some excellent advice and improvements.

I suggest you send the first letter (as amended) and see what response you get. I have some suggestions for a possible Plan B if Plan A doesn't work, but let's worry about that later.

    Best of luck

I would add in an apology to the casino staff involved and also offer to pop along to the casino to see the manager and apologise in person, it may help.

    I know what you mean
The longer I spend trying to get this letter sorted out and posted the more online poker time is lost thinking too much about this letter.
What matters most really is they actually get back in touch with me,

I have made one final bit of adjustment to my draft, removed some of the negative parts. i will send this letter to the casino tomorrow. What I'd like most of all is for them to get back in touch with me, they might have said on Saturday a letter was sent to me but I can't remember a single letter being received from them

    Dear David Tait
I send my full apology for the incident that happened at Aspers Casino Newcastle in August 2015.

What happened was I allowed the other players to wind me up too easily, as a result I got very angry and threw one chip from an opponent’s chip stack. When the casino staff came over asking me to leave I wanted to have a quick talk explaining why I did what I did and that I had issues getting home having missed the last bus. Requesting me to leave in the way they did made me start to panic and react in a bad way. My general life at this moment in time was a stressful one, I felt very stressed out with family issues going on at the time and I was feeling very heavily mistreated by a support worker.

The reason for a support worker is I’ve got autism, this condition means I’ll worry more than I should about a negative situation over time these things build up in my mind making me extremely distressed and very emotional, having Autism means I like to have a routine and something unexpected can make me start to panic and worry, I was planning to remain in the casino until the cash poker finished, getting asked to leave came as a shock and knowing how long it was until the next available bus I started to feel very confused and begun to panic as well as feeling very stressed out from the amount of times people were getting at me for playing tight.

When I came into the casino 24/02/2018 but I didn’t know the casino ban was permanent, nobody stopped me walking in on 19/02/2018 and was allowed to play cash on 22/02/2018. When asked to leave I left the casino straight away.

It’s been two and a half years since the ban was put in place, please could you lift the ban allow me one final chance, that incident was my first incident to have happened at the casino and I promise it will be my last one. It was really stupid of me to act in the way I did. I shouldn’t act in the way I acted that day, if someone is annoying me at the table I should ignore him, if he becomes too serious then I ask the manager to get him to stop or leave the casino right away.

I have new support worker who comes to see me occasionally and I am way more happier with things now than I was at the time of this incident. I use to thing about negative things but now all I think about are positive things and enjoy life way more than I did back then. I’ve learned from that incident as well as visits to other casinos that people will say these sort of things generally, I don’t have an issue with this anymore and bring a bit of music to listen to whilst I play poker therefore I won’t even hear what they are saying.

I do send my full and sincere apologies to the full casino and the staff on shift at the time. This incident was my first and only incident at the casino, I promise to never act so stupidly ever again.

I look forward to hearing from you regarding this matter.

    Yours sincerely

Perhaps a short but sweet letter would be more effective? I think the person reviewing reinstating you might appreciate a short apology rather than anything long winded.

Hi Craig, I agree with Kapowblamz here, how about cutting most of the details and keeping it short, eg

    Dear Mr Tait,

I send my full apology for the incident that happened at Aspers Casino Newcastle in August 2015.

I have a form of autism that means I have had to have help with managing socially. With the help of a support worker I am now much better at coping with anxiety. I deeply regret the incident and would like to make it clear that I have taken steps to ensure that this will not happen again. It's been two years since it happened and I have played at many casinos since, without incident. I hope you will be able to lift the ban and give me this chance to prove that I can now act responsibly and respectfully at the tables.

I do send my full and sincere apologies to the casino and the staff on shift at the time. This incident was my first and only incident at the casino, I promise to never act so stupidly ever again.

I look forward to hearing from you regarding this matter.

    Yours sincerely

Send that letter. Then if you don't hear from them, call and see if the manager will chat face-to-face.

    Hi Craig,

Oynutters letters is very short sharp and to the point, it would be good going with this.

The manager will get the idea without being lost in detail.

Give them a couple of weeks and let us know how it is going.

Nice one Craig, good luck, just don't worry about it, you did what you could. Overturning a ban is probably quite rare, but it happens.

Never in a million years would I have fealt as unconfidient about monster hands as much as I have done from today's cash poker. most big losses on the cash tables will come at a time when you getting bad beat after bad beat but tonight's cash tables didn't have many of them at all, the cause of most damage on today's cash table came from masses of coolers. KK has ran into AA atleast 4 times and sets have ran into better sets on a number of occassions if not lost to better FH, I have made a few poor decisions along the way but as a who it's been a very costly night.

    My total loss tonight
    £103.61

Snow volunteering work either today or tomorrow has allowed to play more poker than I normally would have do today.

I wasn't in the most confident of moods at the very start of the cash game but listening to a bit of prime mind certainly solved that problem and I can't remember a single losing cooler from that session without looking at my HH, I was able to win £40.39 in total from that session.

I did go on to make another £18.46 from my session along side an extra £2 from the freeroll giving me a total prize of £ 60.85
