Taking into account your comments above. On the K9 hand the betting went, min raise, half pot, half pot, all in after you hit your second pair, and you call, understandably.
What if the betting was 3xBB preflop, then a pot bet post flop, and another pot bet on the turn, effectively putting you all in. Do you still call? I suppose if you meant always above, the answer is yes, if you meant usually, then maybe not. But would you have got them all in before hitting the 9?
if i remember correctly i think the hand i was involved in AK V K9 was a SPT sat .. even thou jez got lucky for me it was not a big deal , would i have called with K9 no and jez knows i would not , but have always believed that if you have paid to play they are your chips to do with as you want regardless of what's correct play , different games have different strategy's ( which go straight over my head ) like 9 handed , 6 handed , BH , Satellites i get , i do not need to have the biggest chip stack if there is 3 - 4 seats just need to be 4th .. i gave my thoughts on the original KJ hand which is on page one and i stand by that assessment of what I would do but if a player wants to play it a different way then that is up to them , is it a winning strategy .. i doubt it ..
