    I imagine Direct Buy-In via Sky Poker will open on Wednesday or Thursday. Direct buy-in at the casino on the day will be available too.

    Even after buying in or qualifying (by any means), players still have to register at the Tournament Desk on the day, & their chips only go in-play when they have been allocated a seat after registering at the desk.

    Right there with you on that, think it was previously mentioned they run a £30-50 tournament on Sundays but nothing confirmed?

    Not sure if its helps but the 235 have not held any MTTs since they opened after lockdown.

    The SPT will be the first MTT since then.

    That been said hopefully they run a side event.

    @MARK277

    Thanks. Many poker rooms are doing the same due to lack of Dealers since re-opening.

    Anyway, we shall see. Not sure "self-deal" (ugh) is still allowed these days, as that might be an option.

    Sadly, we have also found out there are not running the live satellite Thursday evening either, which is disappointing

    One of the problems is fear we will be overwhelmed with runners. Live Poker has been bursting at the seams since it re-opened, & to be honest, we'd rather the numbers were more manageable, to cut down Alternate Lists etc.

    @Tikay10 if this weekend goes well, out of 10, how likely will we get a full schedule for next year?

    Hi @Tikay10 ,
    Hope all goes well this weekend, it really hurts that I will not be there. Really miss all the regulars.
    Just wondering if you get a say in the planning of the ( hopefully ) soon to be announced full schedule for next year? Could you mention that the time of year for an SPT in Brighton is not in the Summer months but either early or late in the year. Accommodation prices are ridiculous at the wrong time of year and can really hurt the pockets for those trying to attend.
    Hope everyone has fun
    Nick

    Sorry to hear you won't be there Nick, but I fully agree with your comments regarding the SPT on the South coast. The prices some hotels where quoting for the SPT that got cancelled where outrageous.
