Im sure most people can turn £££'s into nothing, But nothing into £££'s. I am sure anyone could do this is they put their mind to it. Next time you feel like depositing, try this instead.

Here is an all access Poker and Sky Bet challenge for 2023.

Betting is not really my thing but if i fancy the odds and there is a little money in the account the i may have a dabble.
Last year. looked like this

So onto the challenge, 8 freerolls in, the first cash for an almighty 17p (its all profit)

Of course thats not even enough to play 1 game, do i wait for another cash. No of course not.
a 5p bet on Sky Bet

and hey presto we have 30 shiny pennies in the account. Thats enough for a shot at a 28p Turbo DYM. will save that for later though. its the 50 points in the week which is key, especially at this stage of a challenge like this.

Onwards and upwards

Nice. I started off with what used to be known as the Chris Ferguson challenge some years ago, rolling up from zero to $10k. The first $500 is the hardest. Over the years, I've spun up from $50 or $100 to a grand a number of times when I fancy a new challenge.

    Good luck.

Thanks for the kind words of support, i was going to do this quietly, but thought i would throw it out here.

May as well throw in the Sky Vegas prize machine into the equation, i usually stay away from there, casino, bingo ect completely but if it adds a few more pennies that could make all the difference.

I guess all challenges should have a target, (something to strive for) and at least starting with nothing i cant fail completely.

Short term its the 50pts a week for the rewards freerolls and maybe even go for 100. The idea is to try and get a £5 buffer for the following weeks points attempt.

Aim for the promotions and added extras, the stack builder freeroll is certainly out for this week but next week could be different, who knows.

Not sure how often i will post an update but intend on picking everything up in posts with a full monthly review. I have of course stood down from running the the PLO8 league, fortunately @lfccarl has stepped in and i am sure he will do a sterling job. it was fairly time consuming particularly as i am not to computer savvy, and i had less and less time to dedicate to it.

    Ok update from last post.
    20no 28p DYM won 12 lost 8 40p Profit.
Rewards Freeroll £1 ( was in 2 minds whether to include that this week but in the end its all part of the same timescale so i will.)

Balance at time of writing £1.70

just a little fun on one side.
a daily bet at odds of evens or better. 10p its just for fun after all. Bet increases by 10p each day after a winner. a loser and we go back to 10p.
Something to root for when the footies on.

10p sky bet boost Kane, Son & Zaha 1+ shot on target each (was 2/1) now 4/1

Was thinking the same thing. Worth a browse if it's still on here, esp when it comes to using BRM which I he used most of the time.
    Gd luck with your challenge.

    2 schoolboy errors yesterday.

Firstly i had enough points and time to play the Sunday Major freeroll, but it did not even cross my mind to play it.

Secondly and more costly whilst posting a little fun on the side taking the sky boost odds of 4/1 and staking a large silver 10p piece on it, i forgot to actually place the bet.
15 minutes in when i realised this error i took Harry Kane 1 SOT in each half for the same odds, unfortunately he decided not to start playing until the 48th minute. where we could have had a winner a 10p loss was taken to the account.

I will take the Sky Double up Boost odds again for tonights game
Haaland 2+ shots on target and Sterling 1+ shot on target (was 5/2) now 5/1 again staking a whole 2 shillings.

a further 10 DYMs (w6 l4) brings the total to 30 and therefore 30pts, obviously 50pts is the goal for the week although why stop there if 100 is achievable.

Balance at time of writing £1.80, going in the right direction at least.

When GaryQQQ attempted his poker points challenge in would have been a lot tougher as i don't believe the rewards freeroll was around then, though i cant remember if there was something similar. so that was excellent dedication to the challenge.

Poker points now get you into the rewards game where another £2 was picked up last night current balance is £3.70 with no other games played since the last post. I do not have the patience to play purely points freerolls but the option is there for all with otherwise useless poker points in their account.

The question is can i get 70 more points (70 x 28p Turbo DYMs) in by Sunday.
Will the balance stand up to the potential losses that could occur by the required 6 tabling. Well on that score i guess time will tell.

With 2 minutes gone in last nights game, Sterling pulled up injured and i though my hard earned shillings had gone, fair play to Sky Bet though who void the bet giving me the opportunity to give it them back another way.

Tonights game, Man Utd v Everton is an interesting one, Man Utd playing well at the moment and Everton struggling at the bottom of the league but what teams will they put out, will they make changes, the fringe players at Man Utd know that they are unlikely to force there way into the team whereas at Everton the groundsman must fancy his chances.

    8/1 Everton seems like a good bet to me but i am opting to spend my silver (well nickel-plated steel at least) on;
2+ shots on target each team in each half and each team 2+ corners in each half @33/1
