Thanks. But I have to pick my battles. And my Wife doesn't want to binge it. And it is her turn to win.

I live in a "1 Woman 1 Vote" democracy. And my Wife is the 1 Woman with the 1 Vote :)

    PS. Bring back Norman Potting

I gave mine a room out the back where she can watch soaps to her hearts content, making me a free agent.
I learnt from my deprived childhood, my cousin that lived next door but one, enjoyed Dallas, while my sister and I were stuck with Coronation Street.
We never had a clue who shot JR.

I started my 14 day Acorn trial yesterday, immediately cancelled the renewal, and watched the 3 Jack Irish films.
I will start on the 3 series today.
I intend to watch the 4 series of 19-2, which is excellent.

Those Jack Irish things must be quite old as I see Barry Humphries (aka Dame Edna Everage) is in at least some of them, & I'm inclined to think he's fairly dead & has been for yonks.

Jack Irish: Bad Debts (2012) – Movie
Jack Irish: Black Tide (2012) – Movie
Jack Irish: Dead Point (2014) – Movie
Jack Irish – Season One: Blind Faith (2016) – Six-episode TV series
Jack Irish – Season Two: Last Rite (2018) – Six-episode TV series
    Jack Irish – Season Three: **** Bent (2021) – Four-episode TV series
    He is in Dead point.

The Apple offer is probably good value for money.
I was thinking back to what people were prepared to pay for dvd box sets.
So £9 for 3 months must be good, for a new customer, or someone that hasnt been on there for a while.
It is surely a must for Slow Horses (4 series) fans.

    Yeah I thought so.
The films were released before the series, and are the start of his story.

I have started watching a bit of Acorn, on my free trial.
The top one below has got off to a good start.
    I started watching yesterday.
You may be interested in it, as it kicks off with a champion biathlete getting shot in the head.
Another selling point is a very attractive copper.
    Couldnt find a trailer.

The middle one below is good, and stars Anthony Lapaglia, of Without a Trace fame, amongst many other films, and tv series.
The recently deceased girlfriend of Jack Irish in the first series, does a Lazarus, and pops up in the first episode.
As did Mr Inbetweens best mate.

The Sounds is also worth a watch.

    This was good.
Matt Nable plays a leading role. as he does in The Sounds above.
    I quite like him.
He recently had his first novel published, which I have read.
Stan from The Prince of Prussia in Jack Irish, also features in the first couple of episodes.
