Has plenty of scope, and should continue on an upward curve. 3rd. Tracked leading pair 5f, lost place slightly, plenty to do once winner kicked on over 2f out, stayed on to take 3rd over 1f out, never able to threaten (op 15/8 tchd 2/1 in a place)

Greatwood 14/9/13 Doncaster 4.25 Maiden winner at 2 yrs, and better still when just denied in a valuable sales race at Newmarket in April, but has disappointed in a pair of Group 2s since, and now reverts to handicapping. 2nd   Held up towards rear, headway halfway, tracked leaders 3f out, effort to challenge 2f out, soon ridden and slight advantage entering final furlong, soon driven and every chance until no extra near finish

Pallasator 07/9/13 Haydock 3.15 Out of Lancashire Oaks winner Ela Athena and quickly developed into a useful performer in 2012, last seen winning C&D handicap. Sure to be raring to go on return and leading claims on just fifth run. 3rd   Held up, pushed along 4f out, headway 3f out, ridden and hung left when chasing leaders over 1f out, stayed on inside final furlong but never going to get there

    12/10/13 Newmarket 3.50

Highly progressive 3-y-o in 2012 and picked up where he left off when showing a smart level of form to finish third in Old Borough Cup at Haydock on return. Sure to relish this extreme test.

Absent since May and unproven on AW, but sets the standard nevertheless. Well-regarded colt who opened account after break in Lingfield maiden last month, staying on strongly and value extra. Likely has even more to come now going handicapping.
