Kingsbarns 07/9/13 Leopardstown 6.50 Justified market strength when bolting up in a Navan maiden in October and again well backed when landing the Racing Post Trophy later that month. Looked open to improvement, but unraced since. unplaced Soon settled in 4th, quickly dropped to rear halfway, soon eased

    KingsBarns
    19/10/13 Ascot 3.30

Bolted up in a Navan maiden and again well backed when landing the Racing Post Trophy. Reported to have lost his action on belated return in Irish Champion last month and bit to prove now.
3rd Tracked leading trio, closed to take 2nd just over 2f out and soon challenging, edged left and not quicken over 1f out, kept on

    19/10/13 Ascot 2.20
Goes well on ground softer than good and shaped better than the bare result (poorly drawn) on penultimate start in 6f Group 3 at the Curragh. Made little impression in the Prix de l’Abbaye last time.
    unplaced
Chased leading pair in group towards centre for 2f, lost place halfway, well beaten 2f out (op 14/1)

Excellent third in July Cup last time and obvious player despite giving weight all round. Winner Always prominent, close 2nd halfway, headway going best to dispute 2f out, pushed out to lead over 1f out, stayed on well

    19/10/13 Ascot 2.20
Up-and-coming sort who has won 2 Group 3s at the Curragh this summer. Clearly not himself in the Nunthorpe and quickly bounced back when finishing second in the Sprint Cup at Haydock. Strong claims.
Winner Tracked leader in group towards centre, overall leader 2f out, hard pressed and edged left 1f out, ran on well and held on (op 6/1)

Decisive winner of decent 1m Newmarket maiden last term, but disappointing in pair of handicaps this time round (tried in headgear on each occasion). Fair bit to prove on AW debut here.
