    Asgardella

    07/9/13 Thirsk 3.40

Hasn't managed to add to her debut victory last summer in 7 subsequent starts, and likely to find 1 or 2 too good once again.

Tracked leaders on outer, headway 3f out, ridden over 2f out, driven and weakened well over 1f out (op 16/1)

Zand 09/6/13  Curragh 3.50 Half-brother to smart 1¼m/1½m winner Zanughan, and built on promise of 1m debut here in September when winning maiden at Leopardstown following month. Looks a smart performer in the making. unplaced Waited with, 6th 3f out and soon pushed along, no impression under 2f out, not hard-ridden inside final furlong

    Zand

    07/9/13 Leopardstown 6.15

Built on debut promise when winning maiden over 1m here in October. Could only manage sixth of 10 in Curragh listed event on reappearance but possible he'll bounce back at some stage.
unplaced  Chased leaders in 4th, not quicken 2f out, soon no extra

    Pallasator

    07/9/13 Haydock 3.15

Out of Lancashire Oaks winner Ela Athena and quickly developed into a useful performer in 2012, last seen winning C&D handicap. Sure to be raring to go on return and leading claims on just fifth run.

    3rd

Held up, pushed along 4f out, headway 3f out, ridden and hung left when chasing leaders over 1f out, stayed on inside final furlong but never going to get there

    07/9/13 Leopardstown 6.50

Justified market strength when bolting up in a Navan maiden in October and again well backed when landing the Racing Post Trophy later that month. Looked open to improvement, but unraced since.

    unplaced
Soon settled in 4th, quickly dropped to rear halfway, soon eased

    The Lark

    12/9/13 Doncaster 3.15

Won her maiden here as a 2-y-o and excellent third in Oaks at the end of May. Bit better than result (left with lot of ground to make up) when fifth in French Group 2 since and leading player here.

Steady progress in 2-y-o maidens and has stepped up markedly in handicaps this year, scoring again after surging to front in good style after 3 months off at Salisbury. 4-timer beckons.

Closely related to the high-class stayer Saddler's Rock. Smart performer who has been placed in a Sandown Group 3 and the English/Irish Derbies this term, and rates a very solid proposition here.
3rd Tracked leading pair, headway 3f out, close up 2f out, soon ridden and edged right over 1f out, every chance until driven and one pace inside final furlong (tchd 13/2)

Maiden winner at 2 yrs, and better still when just denied in a valuable sales race at Newmarket in April, but has disappointed in a pair of Group 2s since, and now reverts to handicapping.
