The call on the river, I typed in the chat box I have an ace lol
Then as it was about to time out, I thought it could be a mad bluff to win what is in the middle.
In these games some players will do that, but, this opponent wouldn't, he had played well through out the time I was on his tables, and didn't really put a foot wrong. It was the easiest fold ever in the history of folds.
I don't normally get fatigued playing, but I definatly was in this spot, it was quite an intense FT lasted over an hour, the silly thing is I was 1 minute from the break.
If someone is on sharkscope, could you do me a big favour and tell me my stats for MTTs for November (excluding HU games, which are terrible!) And my stats for MTTs since June- present.
With cash I have made a really decent profit as well.
But I have made so many mistakes it's been unreal (at cash)/ chasing losses, tilting. I won a lot at 10nl, I won 1 bi at 50nl (only played 50 nl twice), I lost about 4BI at 20nl. After a losing session on 10nl I "chased losses" on 20nl, and basically played terrible!
Someone else where said that 20nl wasn't that much different to 10nl. I'm not to sure about that, I definatly think 20nl is tougher.
In saying that the times, I have played 20nl its been a reg fest (wrong times of day).
I reckon I'm definatly good enough to beat 20nl.
For December, hoping to make a good profit again, and might get stuck into 20nl a bit more.
So last night I was really up for playing MTT's, but I didn't last long in anyof them. I played pretty bad.
I won quite a good bit at cash, and at 3am I thought I would give some HU Cash a go. I watched 1 guy play for abit and thought I would have a go at 50/1. It was going ok, then I had the best hand to the river and ended up losing about £70 in total.
It was pretty bad lol I should have just stopped playing when I was up. I won't be doing that again for a long time!
It didn't really bother me losing, it's just part of the game.
I know that might sound a bit strange, but I rekcon it taught me an important lesson!
Had a really good session tonight, ended up £70 quid up on a 10nl master cash table.
I also won the Orfie League for November with a score of 4, which im really pleased with and well done to longman for coming second.
Ended up coming 2nd in DTD 1 tonight, was really glad just to make a FT, I've been running pretty bad in MTTs over the last week.
I was running deep in DTD 2 as well, was itm, then I got HU in the 1st game, and lost focus of the other game, I thought I was seeing the hands, and was doing ok, by the time I was knocked out of DTD1 I had 4 bb in the other game, must have just blinded down, didn't think I had missed any hands tho lol
Every1 seems, for the most part, to play cash or mtts. I play both, mostly cash I would say.
Don't know if I should try and focus on 1 over the other, or just keep playing both.
Not to sure which i'm best at now, probably as good at both I would say.
All the regs with diaries, Jac35, DYMs, some cash mtts, Craigcu, cash, Chickenmelt, mtts, dohh, hu sit and gos, mtts, gazza, mostly mtts with some cash, f_ivan, cash, the don, mtts and some cash, tommy d, everything, lambert180, cash.
Most players seem to focus on 1 variance of the game over another,
Thoughts everyone, is it better to concentrate on one area, or just have a mix of everthing?
As you're probably the most regular NL10 poster I thought I'd have a flick through your diary - really impressive turnaround on the MTT front and certainly an inspiration for those of us trying to improve at a similar level of buyin.
Am I right in saying you are mostly regging the £2.30 BI bounty hunters and micro stakes deepies rather than looking at bigger BI or sats more regularly - and do you still mix these in with cash when multi-tabling or do you very much stick to one format at any time?
Good luck with the continued improvement... would obviously love to see you jump up to NL20 and take away one more of the better players from NL10!
I don't play that many BH'ers, a lot of the time it's just a lottery, and really difficult to get a good run in them. I play the odd one for a bit of fun, i'm happy if I make a slight profit.
Most of the volume in MTT's is from low stake deepstack games. I don't play many sats or bigger buy in tournies, even though I probably should!

This! Should be looking to sat into most Mains Henrik....you never know what you might bink....
If you enjoy cash and MTT's then just play both innit. I splash about in cash occasionally but MTT's will always be my bread and butter. I do enjoy a nice cash grind though.
I suppose it depends... in a single session I would expect that the looser player would be the one that would secure the big spin up... but then I'd also expect them to have more big losing sessions as well, which may mean that tight could well make more money over a larger sample?
That said, as one of the biggest nits, I do look on very enviously when I see people sat with 500BB, 1,000BB, or even larger stacks!
Decided not to make any withdrawels, till I had built it up a good bit, hopefully when c4p go into morrow, 1k profit for the month will be more than achievable.

You are spot on, I should have 3 bet it pre.

November
Was a realy good month at MTT's and cash;
SCHEDULED 11/01/2013-11/25/2028 83 £2.47 £2.09 143% £205 75

The Orfie game (7:10)
The 2 freerolls (7:00) and 7:15
2 deepstacks, 7:15 and 7:45. Might give the super deestack game a go too.
Not sure about the 8:05 BH it's a bit of a luck fest.
If you are on my tables later, be sure to say hello!
I'm feeling quite confident for tonight, A game all the way!

This was my fave hand from last night, against a total maniac.

Better to play a mixture of everything or better to focus on one area?
Paul who is the DTD pro?
Hopefully I will be beating higher levels soon, time will tell!
Wonder what makes more money, loose or tight, loose I guess?
I suppose it depends... in a single session I would expect that the looser player would be the one that would secure the big spin up... but then I'd also expect them to have more big losing sessions as well, which may mean that tight could well make more money over a larger sample?

I suppose it's depends on the table you are playing on.
I definatly change how I play depending on table dynamics. It seems most 10nl regs are TAG, in fact I can't think of 1 that isn't!
I wonder if they make much money.
Bankroll is at it's highest ever!
Decided not to make any withdrawels, till I had built it up a good bit, hopefully when c4p go into morrow, 1k profit for the month will be more than achievable.
Been a really good week my roll has increased just under 40%, c4p helped too!

Was thinking about playing the mains next week.
