Don't think he was asking for tons of advice. Just let him have a go at it if he wants to. Posted by KING2600
Some of us actually care about others, ya know? Would you say the same to someone not wearing a seatbelt? A smoker binging on cigarettes? A stone degenerate donking off his life savings at the casino? I (despite not knowing OP on a personal level) don't want him to go bust, and make poor life choices. I'd like to see him enjoy poker, and make good, well informed decisions. I care about his well being.

In Response to Re: Randyrambo best DYM player on sky : guys i dont see how you think its wrong. ive done it before.. you play an average of 30-40 £5.50 games and win the vast majourity of them your up £100 everyday min, plus PLO cash and holdem cash tables Posted by randyrambo
if you play 40 a day you'll do well to maintain a 10% ROI, which gives obv gives you £20, if you game select you might be able to make 15% if you are infact any good, 15% ROI obv gives you £30, even when you add in the small amount of C4P you'd earn on top, it's still way under min wage
OP - good luck with the challenge. There has been some solid advice given in terms of reasonable expectation from your starting bankroll. Either way, I'd definitely suggest going for slightly less provocative thread titles - just saves the potential flaming.
Others who post on the thread, please do keep the comments and feedback civil as well.
I don't need a massive lift guys or would not have left my job in the first place. Hope everyone keep an eye on me and see me rise !this is a hobby and the extra money will be a nice bonus.. This is early stages but it will build then my stakes will rise to a level am happy with..
I think most of the guys with negative feedback and look at there own shark scope because not everyone loses money and some players and good..
I play DYMs because I like to win, am a winner and always have been.. I have my strategy and style and always has worked for me
one of the craziest posts ive read in a while, you must have really hated you're job to quit and play dyms for a living. to start with £30 is just stupidity but i wish you the best and hope it works out for you!!!

Thanks mate, I could have started with any amount but this will get me settled in for all the doubters watch my level rise over time.. This isn't a month plan, it's a long term strategy and it will rise over time and my roll with increase.. I just know my ability to win not 1/2 games but 15/20 in a row is there and ill make it..

but you say its a long term strategy, how can you expect to play £5.50 dyms long term when in time you will have bills to pay, living expences, car etc, you would have to step up levels and then like anything the games get tougher and you're roi drops and you're not making enough money!!!
If you manage to jump up one level a month then you will be doing well. Dont aim too high too early though. but good luck none the less Posted by jordz16
Of course jordz16 that's the plan, thanks for the support

I could deposit more and play higher stakes now but this is my challenge and the way I'm doing it, of course my stakes and cash level will increase.. I'm building and bankrolling myself to get there
good luck with this Randy. seems like you are determined to succeed which is 1/2 the battle. I played a lot of dym's last year myself and found it a great way to build up a bankroll.(turned £40 into £1000...started @£1/£2 like yourself). at one point I was playing around 15 tables @ £3 level playing well over 100 games a night. I could win anywhere between £200-£400 a month comfortably in the end after plenty of practise, but it was/is hard work night after night. I am now trying to build up another bankroll playing cash.(finding it a little bit harder though lol) i'm sure you know what you are doing and striving for and I wish you all the best with it. keep us up to date with your progress. i'm sure it will make good reading.

Keep diggin'.
Leave it as a hobby OP, until you have sufficient results to conclusively prove you can achieve a decent win-rate/ROI in the game.
seems like you are determined to succeed which is 1/2 the battle.
