good luck with this Randy. seems like you are determined to succeed which is 1/2 the battle. I played a lot of dym's last year myself and found it a great way to build up a bankroll.(turned £40 into £1000...started @£1/£2 like yourself). at one point I was playing around 15 tables @ £3 level playing well over 100 games a night. I could win anywhere between £200-£400 a month comfortably in the end after plenty of practise, but it was/is hard work night after night. I am now trying to build up another bankroll playing cash.(finding it a little bit harder though lol) i'm sure you know what you are doing and striving for and I wish you all the best with it. keep us up to date with your progress. i'm sure it will make good reading. dev Posted by devonfish5
i played alot aginst you last year, you were a solid player.. alot of players dont understand how simple DYMS can actually be.. thanks for your support and hope you keep up to date
In Response to Re: Randyrambo best DYM player on sky : I could deposit more and play higher stakes now but this is my challenge and the way I'm doing it, of course my stakes and cash level will increase.. I'm building and bankrolling myself to get there Posted by randyrambo
Best of luck in your challenge.
Personally, I don't really see where you will end up by playing DyM's on sky given the liquidity at the higher end is non existence which means you have a limit on potential earnings. Also, you are right by saying best DYM player if you get the win ratios you expect as these will be far in excess of any DyM reg on the site.
How many tables do you expect to play getting the win ratios you expect? Have you looked at your expected hourly rate?
8-10 tables is a nice number to play I think. I think I was playing my A game between 9-12. anything more is good for c4p but I think my game would then just drop off slightly at 15+
quick question.. how many tables do you play? only reason I ask is because I found the more I played the better...well up to about 18 anyway Posted by devonfish5
Depends on what you're trying to achieve though Dev!
When you playing that many, you were making way more in C4P certainly. However, you were sat out in many of your games and I think it's unlikely you were doing as well as you were when playing a more manageable amount.
To original poster
I've played around 6500 Dyms in just under 2 years on here, mainly at the £5 level and do ok. By ok, I mean I use poker winnings to have the odd treat and it pays for a few nights out. I'm a million miles away from being able to say I could leave work and do it full time. Play them as a way of just adding a little to your salary and particulary to just enjoy playing poker.
I strongly suspect this is all a bit tongue in cheek. If not well..... Good luck
Edit: sigh, I'm so slow! About 5 posts since I started writing!
Yes Dev, now I think you're right. 9 - 12 much better

true mate. I have just posted saying I think I played my A game at around 9-12 tables. yes playing more than 15 or so it was all about building c4p. the reason I was 'sat out' so much was simply because in the end I couldn't be bothered to click button to stop it. and simply let the time bar run out. (this also I found used to 'get to' some players which was another bonus for doing it. ) so I was very much aware of it,and as long as I was back in play for the next hand that was ok.(again here...sometimes i didn't always manage to 'keep up' with play if you like, and was 'away' at times but as i said it was all very experimental at that time, and i was aware i was making mistakes.) I was also experimenting with it and trying to build up my tables to around the 20 mark at the time, which I did for last Decembers 'priority grind' i remember doing.(think i finished up making around/losing £20 that month... so i take your point mate.
In Response to Re: Randyrambo best DYM player on sky : And TBF I think the OP has more chance of acheiving his goal imo Best of luck to you Rambo - I think its a tall order but only time will tell (a bit like the gunners really lol) Posted by POKERTREV
Just to keep everyone up to date, started with £30 up to £70 and guns keep grinding it out over the next few weeks and move up step by step Posted by randyrambo
with £70 i'd now play £2 drop the £1 & get to the £3's asap maybe at £100?
