    Lady Buttons - (Wetherby, 12:25) 1.24/1 (Betfair) X
Landed 2 bumpers here last season and made successful start to hurdling career in Worcester novice last month. Definitely more to come.

Led or disputed lead to 3 out, outpaced next, no danger after (op 7/4 tchd 13/8)

    Attaglance - (Cheltenham, 14:30) NR
Smart handicap hurdler at his peak (2012 Martin Pipe winner) who chased home Present View at this year's Festival. Shaped as if as good as ever when fifth at Market Rasen in September.

    Buywise - (Cheltenham, 14:30) 13/2 (Corals) 5th
His form took off once switched to handicap chases last term, posting a smart effort (despite mistakes) here in April and should be spot on for this having scored over hurdles at Ludlow (2m) recently.

    Hargam - (Cheltenham, 15:35) 7/4 (Corals) 2nd
Useful on Flat in France for Alain de Royer Dupre and clearly a very interesting runner on debut for top connections.

    Bitofapuzzle - (Cheltenham, 16:05) 4/1 (Ladbroke) Winner
Half-sister to fairly useful hurdler up to 2½m Golden Gael. Won a maiden point on debut and landed 8-runner bumpers at Bangor/Huntingdon (listed event) at the turn of the year. Respected on return.

Made all, shaken up when challenged 2f out, asserting when edged left entering final furlong, stayed on strongly, won going away (tchd 9/2)

Black Hercules - (Cork, 13:25) 4/11 (Paddy Power) Winner
Smart bumper performer who should be very hard to beat on hurdling bow.

Disputed lead until led 4th, still travelled well approaching 2 out, in command when mistake last, comfortably (op 2/11)

    Lots Of Memories - (Punchestown, 13:40) 5/1  (Bet365) X
Latest win in hurdle at Fairyhouse in April. Smart winner at 24f over hurdles. 2nd of 7 in novice chase at Cork (20f, good to soft, 7/4) on debut over fences 28 days ago. Should progress.
Chased leaders, closer in 2nd and raced keenly after 7th, disputed briefly from 9th, narrow advantage before 5 out where bad mistake, ridden after 3 out and headed under pressure before next where mistake, weakened, broke blood vessel (op 4/1)

    Jezki - (Punchestown, 14:15) 4/5 (Bet 365) 2nd
Very hard to knock his strike rate, and better than ever under a fine ride in a first-time hood when landing the Champion Hurdle at Cheltenham. Beat Hurricane Fly in Grade 1 here in May. One to beat.

Chased leader, moderate 2nd halfway, took closer order behind leader 2 out and led going well between last 2, soon ridden and headed narrowly before last where mistake, kept on well run-in without matching winner (op 8/13 tchd 4/7)

Simply Ned - (Cheltenham, 14:40)11/4 (Paddy Power) 2nd
Likeable sort who signed off his novice campaign with a second in the Maghull at Aintree and produced a smart weight-carrying performance when landing a handicap at Kelso on last month's return.
Held up behind leaders, took closer order 3 out, soon pushed along, close 3rd when hit last, soon ridden, looking to hang left, kept on but not pace to challenge winner, went 2nd nearing finish (op 7/2)

    Regal Encore - (Cheltenham, 15:15) 10/1 (William Hill) X
Shaped well when fourth in the Imperial Cup at Sandown on handicap debut last March and has a bigger performance in him for sure. Return to 2m sure to suit this strong traveller.
Ridden after 3 out, always towards rear

    Katgary - (Cheltenham, 15:15) 20/1 (William Hill) X
Landed 2 juvenile events in France. Unlucky not to win the Fred Winter on first run for yard, but seemed to be beaten by more than a lack of a run on last month's reappearance at Aintree. Tongue tied.

Always towards rear, never going pace to get on terms from 2 out

Garde La Victoire - (Cheltenham, 15:15) 19/1 (Betfair) Winner
Bumper winner, who scored 4 times in novice/maiden hurdles either side of not being disgraced in the Supreme. Strong in the betting and would have gone very close but for late mistakes on return.
Led until 3 out, back in front when not fluent 2 out, soon ridden, kept on very gamely run-in, driven out (op 14/1 tchd 16/1)

Off the mark in Irish points at third attempt and won first 2 starts in bumpers, revelling in the mud at Newbury. Creditable seventh of 22 in Champion Bumper at the Festival on final start. Player.

Tracked leader, led over 2f out, edged left but stayed on strongly to assert final furlong, ridden out (tchd 15/8)

Deputy Dan - (Plumpton, 13:30) 1/1 (Betfair) Winner
Developed into one of the best staying novice hurdlers of last season and set to at least match that form over fences, shaping well first time up at Fontwell last month. Exciting chasing prospect.

Made virtually all, tended to jump slightly right, definite advantage 9th, jumped markedly right 3 out, soon drew clear, 7 lengths ahead last, tired and ridden out flat (op 10/11)

    Miles To Memphis - (Leicester, 15:50) 1/4 (Betfair) 3rd
Maintained unbeaten record when making impressive start over hurdles at Fontwell last month, readily putting a seal on things after the last. Should make considerable progress.

Held up in touch, hit 1st and 3 out, ridden approaching last, stayed on same pace flat

    Aklan - (Fairyhouse, 12:35) 11/10 (Sky) X
Smart on Flat (stays 1¾m). 9/10, won 23-runner novice hurdle at Navan (16f, soft) on NH debut in January, forging clear. Open to significant improvement.
Chased leaders, 4th halfway, not fluent 3 out, lost place after 3 out, slight mistake in 5th next and one pace after (op Evs)
