looking at them my guess would be nottingham as you say very tough meeting. tbh fingers crossed as that will prob roll over giving us more value for our money on wednesday if meeting is right for us.
Up to you Graham - I have complete faith in your judgement. Posted by bearace
Well thanks for the vote of confidence, a lot to live up to now. :=)
OK, well provided there are no subsequent objections, we may go for it from time to time when there is no rollover, however it would have to be a fairly uncompetitive card for us to do so.
I have just taken a closer look at tomorrow's cards.
We will probably go for it IF the Jackpot is at, Brighton, Wolverhampton or Yarmouth.
We definitely will NOT go for it, if it is at Nottingham or Chelmsford.
It will probably be Nottingham, so highly likely the troops can stand down tonight, although would be good to confirm the meeting, and as such, our intentions, as soon as we can.

OK, well just in case we don't hear tonight, we'll be on standby for tomorrow.
As I said earlier, I expect it to be Nottingham, in which case it will be a NO GO.
OK, it looks like it is Nottingham, so we can stand down.
I found out by going through the motions of putting on a Jackpot bet, as it didn't say anywhere. Hopefully that strategy will help us find out if it is not displayed anywhere going forward. It's not quite right as it shows the pool size as 10K, but I am sure that will update in the morning.
Would have to be after midnight though by the looks of it.
OK guys, just to let people know and to prepare themselves for their respective roles, in the event of a rollover, this is what I think will happen.
1) The rollover meeting will be declared as Ascot.
2) The racecard configuration at Ascot is such that we WOULD go for it.
3) In all likelihood our "banker" will be in the first race (I do appreciate that this is not ideal if it lets us down, but to follow the strategy our banker needs to be the biggest odds/on shot, whether that is the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th or 6th race)
In the event of a rollover, please can the following people confirm that they are ready to do their tasks.
1) Micky/MK, confirm ASAP whether the meeting is Ascot or not.
2) Roger, sometime soon after 7pm-8pm please could you prep the spreadsheet, using the template that includes Jockey's and Trainer's.
3) Micky/MK, notify the thread of non-runners as and when.
I will prepare the spreadsheet and release it at about 11pm where the removers team can ask me to put horses that I have omitted, back in (still in light blue)
I will then release the spreadsheet at 11AM for the remover's team. Remover's can make their selections before hand, but will not be able to select the additional runners.
Please can the above confirm that they are ready to do their roles.
