Sorry, not been following this thread for half an hour or so. Distracted elsewhere. Appreciate Mo Farah while we still can. We won't see his like in a British vest probably in most of our lifetimes. An absolute legend.

Unlucky tikay! Couple of questions.... 1.) any idea the earliest I can reg tomorrow so I have the best chance of getting in... we are coming from Lichfield so took a chance booking a hotel.... from the sounds of it I might not get in unless I am there early to register. 2.Are you a Aston Villa fan like me :):) Posted by paige55
I always have been and always will be a villa fan :-)

No TV in the cardroom, so not been able to watch it today. There is a TV upstairs, in the casino, but not down here.
I agree with you though - appreciate talent like Mo when you can. I vividly recall how sad I was when Lester Piggott retired, having missed so many opportunities to watch him. Now I miss his genius terribly.

Team Flounce - captained by Jac, but including Hendo, Plump Percy, CPFC2010 etc, are all upstairs watching Sunderland v Derby.
Play has resumed.
Am off to get some chip counts.
Remarkably, the last time I saw him he was smiling, in fact he's been happy all day.
Thanks Chump
OK, a bunch of chip counts incoming.

Stu Rutter is sharing a table with Samantha, & they are knocking back "shots" in enormous quantities. That could get mighty messy.
