    Great work Team Sky, and gl those who bagged up some chips for day 2.

    Gl also those playing day 1b, particularly Day4eire, Cpfc, Hendrik and Jac.

    The latter, being a very modest man, hasn't mentioned this since June 12th, 2013. So here, in all its glory, is the full story from that day....

    I'm trying to get today's Update started, but its awkward, as lots of players are arriving, & of course they want to talk, I want to talk, say hi, chit chat etc.

    Guess it wont calm down until play starts at 2pm.

    I will have the Day 1a Chip counts shortly, & I'll post them here as soon as I get them.

    Something like 158 runners, & I believe just over 50 survived.

    Sky James ended Day 1A with 80,000 or so.

    Sky Kirsty ended Day 1A with 85,000 ish.

    I ended day 1A with naff all. 

    Life is so unfair.

    An hour to kick off, & the queue to register (EVERYONE has to register, even if they have qualified) is already very long.

    I fear there may be a degree of bedlam afoot.

    Ha, I deffo don't mind chit chatting with everyone, but I just wanted to explain how tough it is to Update when I'm schmoozing & chatting.

    It should get easier once play starts.

    The queue to register is growing ever longer.

    If you plan to play today - EVEN IF YOU ALREADY HAVE A SEAT - the sooner you get here the better.

    As things stand, I cant see how they are going to get everyone seated by 2pm.
     
    I mean, its not the end of the word if folks miss the very start, but just wanted to warn everyone.
