Strike a light. You don’t mean covid is affected, you mean sars 2. 6 flu strains? All mutate 100’s of thousands of times.
Vets, like doctors, send samples to labs. I’ve got one of the top vets labs in the country close by, they worked on the ‘ mad cow’ disease. Public health bodies in all countries work in conjunction with vet labs, which gets ramped up if anything new turns up. Somebody that tested positive but wasn’t ill, never had Covid, so they aren’t a Covid case. Although, in Canada, when a person that’s tested ‘ positive’ comes into contact with anybody, they are all counted as cases.WTF,bin your mobiles. The efficacy of these flu jabs over the past ten years is average to say the least.
Tip for you. All media are bought and paid for. Same for the nudgers.
Are you really a lawyer, or are you bluffing?
Let's look at this in detail. Not because I am ever going to convince you, but because people who believe you are more likely to die.
"You don’t mean covid is affected, you mean sars 2."
I use Covid, the effect, rather than Sars-Cov-2 deliberately. Simply because it is more accurate.
I get why the medical profession uses the label Sars-Cov-2. But it is not accurate. Like a lot of medical terminology, it tries to use the symptoms to label the disease. Only badly.
"Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome".
Severe? For a substantial minority it is asymptomatic. For the majority it is not severe. For a substantial minority it is severe.
Acute? Not for the asymptomatic. Not for many people with chronic Long Covid.
"Somebody that tested positive but wasn't ill, never had Covid, so they aren't a Covid case"
Yes, they are. They may not have had the effects of a Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome but, by the very definition of both Sars-CoV-2 and Covid, they have had the virus, and can pass it on.
"Bin your mobiles."
I take your point. At least, people should review who is on the Contact List. For some reason, track and trace conflates your Contact list (which is people you at some stage want or wanted to phone/text) with who you are going to meet in real life. I'm sure pretty much everyone has people on their Contact list that they haven't met in years.
"Public Health bodies in all countries work in conjunction with vet labs"
Of course they do. There is often crossover. Just very little here. There seems to be little or no meaningful evidence either in relation to whether or not this jumped species, or whether animals can get/pass on the virus, which would be the only relevant parts here. The rest purely relates to humans
"The efficacy of flu jabs...is average to say the least"
It varies enormously from year to year. This is because medical science cannot predict the future with certainty, only what is statistically more likely. In part, this depends on whether they have accurately predicted the prevalent strain for the next Winter, and how bad it is. It really depends how you define "average"-some years it saves tens (if not hundreds) of thousands of lives worldwide, and on others only thousands or tens of thousands.
Rising prices for everything... Dont blame Brexit or Covid.
It's all to do with energy prices.
No-one is putting their money into the fossil fuel companies anymore so they have to hike their prices to survive. All the recent climate change activism has caused this.
The truth is we will still need fossil fuels for decades and until there is a viable solution in place prices for everything will remain high.
We have pulled the trigger too soon as far as fossil fuels are concerned.
