Know how you feel (although I lasted more hands than yourself) as have played 5x MTT's getting my chips in pre with best hand & being outdrawn in every one of them with the last one being the worst...AdJd (I was shorty after another bad beat AK vs AT) vs 2s8s- 2 on flop sealed my fate...cooler time

Ugh. Such a minefield, mate.
I had two sickish coups, which you would expect given I haven't put it in bad since 2009.

This is more like it!
Little to report as, like I said, I lasted just 5 minutes and the same amount of hands.
The first hand was folded to me in the small blind. I made it 60 with QQ, BB calls.
Flop is 8d 6d Jd.
Naturally, I don't have the Q of D. I pot-bet. BB calls. Turn brings a black ace. I bet 3rd of the pot. BB calls. As is ALWAYS the case (according to our memories), the pesky 4th diamonds is dealt as the river card. Check/check. I lose to 74o with the 7 being a diamond. Lose 310 chips first hand. Cosmic.
5 hands later, I'm in the SB again with Kh4h. There's a tiny raise. I call for 40/50.
Flop is 9x 9h 7h. Checks all round, which was nice, I thought (I'm a fool).
Turn gives me the nut flush (Ah). I check, someone bets half pot, which is called by both the pre-flop raise and yours truly. Turn is a Qc.
I bet 450 in a pot of 600. It's called by the bod who made the turn bet. Then, pre-flop raiser shoves for 1700-odd which just covers me.
Ugh.
I'm not sure what I'm beating. Well, I know the answer, I'm only winning if the pre-flop raiser has played poorly post-river. So, there are times where I would fold this, as played - but that would depend on the stage of the tournament and stake sizes.
I still have 1200 behind and it's still Level 1. However, given the nature of this particular tournament, I decide to call.
Fella tables A9 for the house. The ace of hearts on the turn was a truly vile card.
As always, would appreciate any comments and/or discussion on anything posted.
Hope you are still going strong in Mini- finished 3/425 on Thurs night in Mini but had no luck last two nights although I did take a few bounties last night

Good to hear @mushroom1 , look forward to it.
Strictly speaking last night was a FAIL - you made a profit.
Try harder.
I might have to take a dive next time out. Don't want to lose face.
I struggle to multi-table four games, on account of having no pre-flop fold option on my account.
(Very shot) tale of woe incoming.

Will update properly asap.

We go again...
Place your bets. I'm going for 197th (finish)? Too cocky?
Post river I play it like a player bereft of confidence and it goes check-check.
Value missed.
Queens hold against fives to claim a first bounty. What could possibly go wrong from here?
Stop the race.
17/102 currently. Only 35 bigs though.
Don't expect any further heroics, however, down to 12 bigs.
