Exit inside 9mins. Top and bottom pair vs bottom set on flop.
Was playing three tables and while the hand was going on I suffered two beats in the other two games - so was frazzled momentarily. That said, I probably don't get away from it anyway.
While I was away, some updates were carried out on my laptop which resulted in my pin-password not being accepted when logging in. I initially created a back-up password but I could not remember what this was.
I tried playing a couple of tournaments on my phone last weekend but it wasn't for me.
The password was actually the name of my other half. Which apparently "should have been my first guess". The fact that it took a number of days and incorrect guesses went down as well as a Corbynista in Kent.
Ah well, the result is that I am back for more Mini Predator punishment this evening!
On the way back to the front room I saw them....two red letter 'A's. Trouble was, I was UTG and the timer had already started to tick.
I start to rush back to my seat, however, in the short time I was away from the screen, it seemed that our house had transformed into that of Kevin McCallister's. Thankfully, I managed to skip and dodge over the dog, a cat, a roller stake and a steaming hot cup of tea and made it back to my seat with the timer only 3/4 gone.
In my confused state I momentarily believe it to be 2001 and I cunningly limp UTG with the bullets.
Naturally, it limp-city thereafter and four of us see the flop, which is...
346 rainbow. I would probably check-fold often here but I decide on a small bet instead.
My half-pot bet of 90 is re-raised to 330 (or thereabouts) and that bet is called by the remaining two players. I, of course, get the f**k out of dodge.
It goes in on the turn with two players tabling trips (3) and two pair (64).
As it turns out it seems I got lucky as, had I raised UTG, I most likely would've been called by the pair of 3's and, in what would've been a two-handed coup, it's likely I stack on the flop.
Unfortunately, this merely prolonged the inevitable....
Well, I had the time right as, 23 minutes after the above post, something vile happened.
Not a cooler, however, I decided I fancied a vile beat instead...
All in pre, KK (me) vs TT. J222 board going to the river and, just as I was starting to decide what I was going to spend my £1.88 bounty on, the two-outer kicked me right in the Niagaras.
Comments
And Myna who is still in a with a decent stack.
Very unfortunate yourself, gg. gl in the next one.
I may squeeze one last effort in tomorrow, should I pack in time.
And by 'pack' I mean; pack, then watch my other half unpack, call me a fool, and pack it properly.
We've all got our strengths.
Tonight's lucky hand is going to be....AA
Tonight's unlucky hand is going to be...KJ, will probs flop a straight and get screwed.
That said, I will cash tonight.

I hate this tournament and myself.

One (slightly) interesting situation so far...
I leave my seat

About four minutes after we resumed play I raise it up UTG with KcQc. Button and SB call.
Flop is QT7 (two diamonds).
SB checks, I bet the pot (still thinking it's 2001), which is over 400 - leaving me with about 1400.
Button folds, SB shoves (covers me). Ugh.
Given the how wet the board is, I don't think I can fold to a C/R here.
I call and my opponents trip-T's are 100% safe on the turn.
One seat HERE!

Scratched my way back to 2100-odd at the break.
Maybe linger slightly longer tonight as it's a rebuy, what could possibly go wrong?
CHIIIIIPS!
Doubled up already.
(insta-rebuy)
This is a record for me at any level/buy-in/form of poker.
I'm sure you can work out what F-word I'm referring to? Well, it's hardly likely to be "fold" is it?
