Regarding my original post in here, the OP seems to come from a biased standpoint which is understandable but doesn't help the argument. Paul is well known for his colourful language etc and suggesting he should be given sponsorship really doesn't help the argument.
From my perspective I do go on twitch and have tried to help people on the forum that have done it. Being primarily an MTT player I don't have interest in the videos that Paul has done so I don't watch them but did watch some of his twitch stuff from a few years ago. If people take offence to something he has done then they should speak to Paul and/or sky. If sky get a lot of complaints then they should speak to Paul or whoever else they have the complaints about. Paul should be told what he is doing wrong and then he can make an informed decision about whether to change and sky can act accordingly.
I understand the frustration that must be being experienced but I don't think the posts in his open facebook group or the rant in his video really help his case.
The ban for Paul seems harsh to me and this blanket ban when it seems it is one complaint seems massive overkill. Of the recent forum twitch guys I cant think of anything that Binks or Ads did that anyone could take offence to. There was banter as there should be but that was mainly relating to viewers of the stream a lot of whom are friends. Hopefully the decision is reversed in the near future.
@MattBates Just for the record, I haven't ever asked for any kind of sponsorship and never would.
I made a tongue in cheek remark regarding getting extra rewards due the traffic I have undoubtedly driven to the site but it was just that, tongue in cheek as I as aware as anyone that my Sky bridges were burned many a moon ago.
@tomgoodun I think it is extremely unlikely that a few youtube videos where I criticise a handful of regs forces anyone to leave.
It is unquestionable that I have had an overall (small) positive impact on the number of people that play on Sky. Like me or loathe me, you would be silly to disagree.
Maybe best to ask for your money back on your copy of ‘How to win friends and influence people’ I am neither silly, nor do I loathe you, to say something is unquestionable is a strong statement without having genuine facts, of which no-one ( including you) has.
Hi The--Don I have watched some of your videos on YouTube and I also use the Sky Forum so have been reading the ‘Sky's number one streamer/ youtuber. Regitime poker (The--Don) asked to stop media’ thread.
I was intending to keep out of this thread but I started to watch your latest video ‘Coaching RegiTime 23rd July 2018’
For what it’s worth - Some of your comments on this video are way too personal. If you are serious about being a Poker coach you don’t denigrate potential customers. I’m new to this game, and was a potential customer. Please note the ‘was’ cos I certainly won’t be signing up for your coaching sessions anytime soon.

Just seen this situation has taken a massive jump from what I have read this morning on the internet in a few different places, I’m not risking posting any links as I don’t know if I would be breaking any T&Cs but my personal opinion I realy hope Sky can reconsider its position on this situation in the near future and find a solution for everyone sakes.

Not read the whole post (so maybe this has been mentioned. was talking to a guy the other night (who claims to know about these sort of things) and he was claiming that people puting out twitch streams of poker games without the other players in the games consent.that they and the sites who allow it could be sued under the data protection laws. dont know if he is right or not about that.but he was convinced he was right.

I’m sure this isn’t right. How would Jamie staples and co get away with it. Unless every player signs up to a site ticks a box to say that they agree for there name to appear on streams which I don’t think happen.
Not sure it can be applied here but since the GDPR compliance came into effect late May early June we in the advertising world have had to jump through hoops to protect data and personal information. Even simple things like crowd photos will have to be blurred to protect the identity of the person if they have not signed a realise form prior. Not sure but think players alias could fall into the scope of this.
also @MattBates I need to make a formal apology to you, the same person that sent the email to me about my stream also gave me what I now know to be incorrect information in relation to what was said about our backing stable from you.
I should have PM you beforehand to ask about it and not made it public on here my fault.
Personally ime not offended by bad language or someone having a dig at me. but skys a buisness.imagin it was another buisness (like a clothes shop or something) And they let one of their customers film what other customers were spending or buying. then they put the video up on youtube with comments like look at that fat b..... buying skinny jeans and comments like that.dont think the shops customers would be to happy about that. so can see skys point.

@weedgi just seeing the name gets me going in a good way # we need more posters mine is broken!!!
My question is why haven't sky done something on twitch?
It appears skypoker has gone from being ahead of other sites in this regard (the TV channel) to well behind, as rival sites have long since had official twitch channels and/or sponsored players.
It's probably too late now with the Pokerstars stuff imminent (doh!), but has this been a good marketing opportunity missed over the last few years?

Do you keep tabs on “traffic” you have driven away from the site also?
