Not a lot happens in the early levels Paul! Anyway, once again Brighton is proving to be our most popular venue on the Sky Poker Tour which is strange because it's a right pain in the **** to get to. We already have 174 entries +19 rebuys and 10 more on a waiting list. We are looking at over £80,000 in the prize pool!

I bust kk to aa first 3 hands in manchester to one of the sky crew
Most of you will recognize Melty (seat 8) but would be less familiar with the gent with the unruly hair (near left) who is quite the character.
His name is Ronnie Debeaulox, & that's the French pronunciation of beaulox. His nick is Racing Ronnie, as he used to live by the winning post (literally) of Lingfield Racecourse. He's a standing dish here at Brighton, proper C & D specialist.
One day when time permits & if you are all bored enough I'll tell the story of when Ronnie, Ed Giddens, another gent & myself went to Moscow in around 2004 to play a team event & won $90,000, which we chopped 4 ways. Then things started to go wrong, & before long they went wronger - badly wronger - & it ended rather awkwardly when we all got arrested at the Airport. A week or two later, it went even more badly wrong, in a coup which would be funny if it were not so tragic.
Anyway, maybe that's another tale for another day.

Great posts as ever TK. Shame about the AA exit. Just shows how fixed live poker is. I mean what are the odds of that happening. Good to see you earlier and look forward to meeting everyone tomorrow.

BUSTO
Raised it up UTG with two lovely black aces.
It goes call, call, call, JAM.
I gird my loins & make the hero call, he has the Jacks.
Hard to imagine a better spot.
I'm on the sidelines now.
Just get myself sorted, then will get a few photos & updates, to give poor James a break.
If you start with this......
Then add this......
You end up with this;
Team talk, with Mr Channing (busto), Mr Bates (ditto), & Sky James, who is taking well-deserved a break from live updating.
Keen eyed observers may note Timmy Ra Ra & the perfectly lovely Anna in the background.

Not too much point doing chip counts at this early stage, but here's the overall state of play as at Midnight on Day 1A.
Entries so far 182 + 31 re-entries = 213, or £42,600. (The overall Guarantee is £50,000).
Chips in play 5,325,000
Players left 89
Average stack = 59,800.
Current blinds & antes are 600-1,200/100.
