Bad jumper hits a bump as his AJ cannot improve against AK he looks to be down to 50k

At least Tikay can do the day 2 updates now (but not as good as today's updates, obv)
  • pompeynicpompeynic Member Posts: 2,834
There are some very big stacks dotted around these five tables, I have just remembered I have to try and beat these tomorrow

The reigning champion departs after his pocket fours are called by A4 the A comes on the turn.
Someone new will be taking home the trophy tomorrow
  • pompeynicpompeynic Member Posts: 2,834
Ok everyone that is it, I’m sure Tikay will do the chip updates tomorrow and we will shuffle up and deal at 1pm.
    So it’s goodnight from me

Rose wins a pot I didn’t see with pocket queens and is up to 65k
On another table all in and call sees AK suited vs pocket kings. Not sky poker players as far as I can tell, two aces on the flop and the kings depart. I mention this only because the gent who lost took it with good grace and just acknowledged that’s the game.

Think this was me, shoved with AK suited and AAx on the floor sadly for the other player. You are correct though, he took it very well indeed!

Great updates Nic - Tikay will be getting nervous for his job at this rate!

It would be good if you could add chrisdonkb to your update list is if you can find him - pretty sure he's still in the mix at the moment :)

I ask Sid v if he knows who Chrisdonkb is, and the chap sat right in front of us says that’s me!
He is struggling a little........ to count his monster stack. 250k
    Thanks Nic.

He ain't doing too bad then! :D

    Morning all.

A little late on parade this morning, due to overdosing on the drug called sleep, sorry.

First up, a vey big thanks to @pompeynic for his splendid work all day yesterday. He's playing today, so if there's any justice, he'll win it, or at least make a real deep run.

I'll be back shortly with the chip counts, once I've made sense of the various lists I've been given.

Talk amongst yourselves for now, or tune in to the Omnibus Edition of the Archers on the wireless. Then, after the Archers, at 11.15, it's Desert Island Discs, which features the Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police this morning. She has a rather interesting name, which might not even get past the profanity filter, but we'll give it a try - Cressida ****.

Oh dear, it failed the filter test.

Well it's D*ck, but its not Dack, Deck, Dock or Duck.

    Oh Dyck then.
