Alea Glasgow sits in a little "Leisure Park" which includes a Cinema, a Costa, and various branded eateries including a N--dos, presumably a budget version of Nandos.
Rather than stay in town at the Hilton or Marriott & shuttling back & forth in taxis every morning & night, I elected to stay in the Ibis here, which is smack opposite Alea Casino, less than 100 yards.
I have a penthouse suite there, which includes a bunk bed, a window but no curtains, a sort of cardboard box which doubles as a chair (I kid you not), and a WC which can only be described as intimate. It functions normally if I want a wee, but were I to require a number 2 I would need to first drop my trousers & then reverse in, as there is insufficient room to rotate, so to speak.
A half-pint bottle of beer which has been precariously perched on my update table has just, & inevitably, been knocked over by one who shall remain craigless. Bottles or glasses of beer on poker tables is a pet peeve of mine, especially when I'm tired & grumpy, & it always ends badly.
Level 11 has started, so 80 minutes play remain & we'll be done by 1am if my maths are correct. Could have sworn that it was scheduled to end at 1.50am, but I clearly got that wrong, as did the Promo Page.
I just got chatting with a lovely man who said how nice it was to meet me, shook my hand, & told me he used to watch me all the time on the TV show. He then told me I "berated his play" on the Show & he sent in a protest text.
There then followed one of those awkward silences.
A thorough search of the remaining tables has failed to locate Ambo, though my mince pies are bad so I could have missed him. I can't hear him though, so I think we must assume Man Overboard.

There is nothing worse than that, he's a dreadful man, but I'm glad you enjoyed the SPT's. Must say, the atmo here is lovely, everyone is chatting, there are no hoodies or earphones, it's just right.

Here's where we are, handily situated next to a Gym, so that's handy for SidV79.
Ludovic Geilich who is the partypoker player mentioned earlier.

Bad news, @weecheez1 is busto, but he said he had a wonderful time, so it's all cool.
He has now headed in the direction of the bar to locate Sid, who was starting to list to port last time I saw him.
It's just great how friendships form at these SPT's.
I wonder exactly that tattoo on his arm is intended to represent?
This impressive stack, around 140,000, belongs to @IrishRose.
@HENDRIK62 is still in, sitting on 35,000, which is some 17 Bigs.

Just as I type that Hendo has 17 Bigs but Channing has been swept asunder, Hendo arrives at Bad Beat Corner & announces "Man Overboard".
Fair play to him though, he never gave me any Bad Beat stuff, which was a welcome relief, as I've heard rather more of them than I care for today.
Looking at the pics and updates I was busted by @ctbn
