Three Years late with that one Mumsie ....... What Nigel has been saying about EU for years. Now seeing same thing in our Government.
We've been saved in the nick of time by "Nigel's Brexit Exit" now showing how devious & corrupt the political system is in this Country , full of MPs with own agenda. Like the House of Lords they want to keep their EMP cushy job's to see them through to retirement. Why are they reluctant to put up candidates ........they know they wont be going for long even if they did get elected. "Jericho Government"

They are MEPs, and Farage has been one for 20 years. Maybe because he has failed in 7 attempts to get elected as an MP.

    Sad you think it's OK.

Gutter Posting show's the level some will go to when losing the argument.
Not the way to treat female posters and the reason so few have threads on here now.
My Mumsie would have made you wash your Camera out with soap & water.

People ie; Remainers who need second referendum and must have one . OK. ..... all for that...... get out and vote in up coming EU Election. May kicked the can to include them so must have thought she would win. So who do you want to win, should be easy as you think, people have changed their mind. If you are correct then "May" will get her Treaty and our Children will be voiceless forever. But Leavers will then ask for another referendum best of three, then General Election all costing the Tax payers (us) money. Great!

How can the EU elections have a direct bearing on Brexit?
The group of people that will be most adversely affected by Brexit are youngsters.
The people that voted most overwhelmingly in favour of remain were youngsters.
For them to be voiceless would mean stopping elections.
Everyone gets the opportunity to change their mind on our Government every 5 years, less on occasion, why should referendums be any different?
Theresa May is trying to leave.

Seriously @Goldon ..I'm confused...enlighten me with a non cryptic reply... You are complaining about MEP's wanting to keep their 'cushy' lifestyles when all that Herr Farage is doing is seeking election to the very same institutional benefits he has milked for so long...

His non attendance at committees he is paid allowances for is factually , well documented and when he is publicly called out he cheers/mocks/laughs like the pub house boor that he is...

I'm gobsmacked that so many people are fooled by his rhetoric......maybe that's why brexiteers have generated a poor perception as being not the sharpest knives in the draw- totally incorrect/unfair and a distraction to the real issues...bit like this whole thread I suppose!

Don't get me wrong, this whole Brexit farce has shown them all to be personal, self serving egotists with little or no regard for 'the will of the people' , 'the democratic process'

A second referendum, with a clear set of options about what people are really voting for is now needed to bring the will of the people and let us get back to a sense of normal...(unlike last time where most brexiteers were voting for an extra 350+m to go back to the NHS and mass repatriation schemes)

My views are not representative of dobi she can answer for herself on her return..... for the moment covering only and giving my point of view......... I'm not the all seeing all knowing eye by any means, so take or leave what I say with pinch / salt.
The voting public are now wise to the smear tactics and fake news so the remain camp do themselves more harm by putting posters up like that.
Always be dirty Politics we follow America in that, but the Truth will prevail .......

Know the EU members don't like him because he tells it like it is and exposes their hidden politics. He could hardly be accused ( but you just have ) for feathering his EU nest for cushy life and free money ....... when he's campaigned for years to leave thus sacking himself...... try another one how about "He drinks to much Beer." lol

I totally agree- his raison d'etre did make him redundant from his MEP role and his resignation from the UKIP party ( he had done what he set out to do no both him and UKIP, surely were no longer needed..)

So we can agree on that, however

Putting aside my personal viewpoint- IF we don't have a second referendum, by implication, we will leave the EU- that first vote has to stand; I get that- but so does Farage

So why do we need the 'son of UKIP' in the form of the Brexit party? ( or daughter of UKIP of the OP's roles is to be acknowledged on this thread!)

Why does he wan't to return to the institution he said he would never go back to?

What post did Haysie put up that was inappropriate to the OP- Yes, in the absence of your puppy, you can answer a question you know

Jean-Claude Juncker says it was a 'big mistake' for EU to stay silent during Brexit referendum 'lies'

© Reuters European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker
The president of the EU commission has said he regrets not intervening in the UK’s Brexit referendum to correct “lies” about the bloc during the campaign.
Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday Jean-Claude Juncker said it was a “big mistake” to listen to David Cameron, who he said had asked Brussels to “stay silent”.
“The then prime minister asked me not to interfere, not to intervene in the referendum campaign,” he said.
“It was a mistake not to intervene and not to interfere because we would have been the only ones to destroy the lies which were circulated around. I was wrong to be silent at an important moment.”
Brexit in-depth: All the latest news, analysis and expert opinion
But the Commission president, who is nearing the end of his mandate and will be replaced in October, struck a more ambivalent tone on Brexit as it stood today.“I don’t have fears, I don’t have hopes,” he told reporters.

“I was saying the other day that by comparison to the British parliament the Egyptian sphinx are open books. Either they stay or they will leave. If they stay, they stay. If they leave, they leave.”
During the Brexit referendum campaign the UK Statistics Authority wrote to Vote Leave, criticising it for using a false figure claiming that the UK pays the EU £350 million a week.
The campaign plastered the figure on the side of a bus and put out advertisements featuring the claim.

Meanwhile on the remain side, predictions about the economic impact of a Leave vote have been criticised as being wide of the mark.
A Treasury analysis published a month before the referendum claimed that "a vote to Leave would represent an immediate and profound shock to our economy". This effect has yet to materialise over two years since the vote.

All this is a bit of a joke really.

To suggest that any thread could be male or female is an interesting idea.

The thought that someone could own a thread is bizarre.

To put someone else in charge while the owner is away beggars belief.

The tweets I posted were published in the Daily Mirror, which can be purchased, and read by women, and children of either sex.

If anyone is offended, then they should direct any complaints to the Mirror.

As you are in charge, maybe you could inform us of any direct effect that the Brexit Party can have on Brexit?

If it is possible for MEPs to influence Brexit in any way, then maybe you could explain why Nigel Farage has had absolutely no influence on Brexit during the last 3 years?

Private prosecution against Boris Johnson to receive first court hearing next week
Marcus Ball's formal case, alleging misconduct in a public office, will get an initial hearing before Westminster magistrates

A private prosecution case against Boris Johnson is set to receive a "world first" court hearing next week.
Marcus Ball launched the case against the Tory MP over now-infamous claims on the side of a bus in the 2016 EU referendum.

The Vote Leave campaign bus claimed the UK sent £350m a week to the EU, but the real figure was much lower. The claims were branded misleading by the UK Statistics Authority.
Now the crowfunded campaigner from Norfolk has reached the next step in his case, which formally accuses the ex-Cabinet minister of committing misconduct in public office.
The case will receive an initial hearing behind closed doors at Westminster Magistrates' Court on May 14.
