Blair must have been pleasantly surprised to find he was flipping with the J-6 against Mean Machine's 3-3, but the pair held despite needing to fade a counterfeit. Heaven Knows, Blair is miserable now.
Well that's it from Las Vegas, and what a final that was, maybe the best SPT Final ever.
So that's a wrap from us.
Big thanks to Sam & James who have helped me all day, to all the players who really gave us a fun-filled day, with not a spot of bad blood, & of course to the readers, responders & lurkers back home.

Sustained pressure from Smithy and a lovely play on a straighty flushy board means he & Rex are now joint chippies.
Word reaches me third hand that Rex asked if the other two fancied a bit of business, but Mean Machine snap declined. Game on.
And in a final that has had everything, we add an emergency bathroom break for Blair which initiates a short unplanned break.
Three handed "Bathroom Break" usually signals the desire to have a little chat so to speak, but not this time, it's a genuine wee job.
Blinds 5,000-10,000/5,000.
Blair makes it 20,000 on the Button, Smithy flats, but Rex is having no nonsense on his Big & squuezes all-in, eliciting two rapid folds.
Rex 340,000
Smith 240,000
Blair 180,000
Smith has been Button limping a lot since it went 3 handed, & the Board ran out 10-8-7-6-A.
Smith had tried to buy it on the turn but Rex made the call.
On the river Rex bet 35,000 into 60,000, & after a lengthy dwell Smith folded King high, (allegedly) & Rex showed his lowtastic 5-2.
The Dancing Shoes are out.
Blair button-jammed & Smith made the call.

And then there were two.
9th = Donttelmum, $1,500
8th = FeelGroggy, $1,800
7th = JTDiamond, $2,200
6th = Wacko90, $2,600
5th - Granite89, $3,100
4th - Thoich, $3,800
3rd - BlairReid, $5,000
What pressure by Smith, & he now leads 540,000 to 200,000.
Panic time it's not.
The chips go all-in pre, & Rex has the best of it with A-9, though Smith is live with two betweeners, K-Q.
What a run-out we saw;
Q-J-3-A........10, & the straight gets there for Smith.
Fabulous final that, & to my naive eyes, a masterclass by Smithy.
I know its over.

Night all.
Does the winner get a to say they have a Vegas bracelet?
How serious are the illegal photography charges?
How much is the bail?
Well done to all, and thanks @Tikay10 for all of the updates.
