Have to say Misterpj, I have concluded after yet another two months of bad luck where I just get outdrawn constantly - much the same as you have i.e House over House, 4 of a kind over House etc - that no matter how well someone plays (btw I am not that good but in many instances, the money was in good long before the River), if you're not lucky in general/life then you are never going to win long term.

Sounds crazy but I really do think luck plays a massive part. There is that old saying "unlucky at cards, lucky at love".....
Starting hands, raising sizes, stack sizes and position are the 4 to think about constantly.
In your reply to Duesenburg you mentioned 20% of your range, but this is position dependant and assuming an unopened pot surely ?
I would suggest the following
!2-15% utg, 15-18% utg+1, 18-25% co, 25-40% button remembering to RFIP but dont fall in love with it, AND NEVER MINRAISE you're just creating multiway pots which we never want
J Q / K Q / A Q / A K suited may be good to 2.25 / 2.5 / 3x pre but if you get reraised how often are you good? Same with medium pairs.
When you 3 bet it has to send a message along the lines of "I like my holding here, how much do you want to ship my way". Yes sometimes they'll dust off the old 4 ball and blast right back over the top. When that happens then you calculate whether you want to save the rest of your stack or whether you're getting a price to just ship it.
Do you have a plan for each hand or do you just adjust as the streets go by ? I ask because sometimes your bets etc seem to not make sense which is often a green light to opponents to stick around and outdraw you.
