Just one example of a lie.
Boris has plenty of his own for balance.
Why are they not accountable to a committee or such like?
Remember that you’re voting for a liar when you vote, unless it’s for the Liberals.
The only baggage I can see for her is voting for tuition fees and the bedroom tax.
There’s still plenty of time though.

As much as I dislike Corbyn, I wouldn't necessarily go along with this point

I think you can make a general point about 16 year olds, that would not apply to every single teenager.
His reason for allowing her return was not well thought out.
I don't particularly want to get into the ISIS argument, but it is illegal to make people stateless
Every country avoiding responsibility for their citizens, would not seem to be a viable solution.
Neither does sending The Met to Syria, to investigate whats gone on.
Nor expecting people to live in refugee camps forever.

It is strange that we can find so much sympathy for teenagers that have been groomed into suffering sexual exploitation, and rightly so, but none for those that may have been groomed into joining ISIS, or other despicable organisations.

    The Lib Dems are deluded.

To have Boris as our PM is embarrassing. The Tories have a lot to answer for, and may well pay for it, in the upcoming election.

Corbyn is not a leader. Labour have not been an effective opposition.
However I may end up voting for them because of their Brexit policy, despite the fact that their spending plans are so scary.

I think Labour could win easily if they had a different leader.
The Labour Party seem like a cult to me.

Just a small add on regarding how the Jewish population vote.
I have a Jewish friend in London, she attends a lot of Jewish events.
I asked her how they normally vote.
She said quite mixed in the past, but not now.
Her son had a choice of three Universities, Nottingham,University of Surrey(Guildford) or Bath.
She thought he’d get less hassle in Bath. Her decision and thinking obviously.
I’m too old to know what goes on in Uni’s.

The anti-Semitism problem typifies Corbyns leadership.

I don't think Corbyn is anti-Semitic, he is just a pathetic leader.

It is such an easy problem to solve.

There is a legal definition, and those that don't comply should be summarily thrown out of the party forever.

This would undoubtedly solve the problem, and maybe more importantly in the short term, this would allow everyone to see that they were actively addressing the issue, rather than doing nothing.

Why is it so difficult to throw law breakers out of the party?

Indeed madprof, it would take from now until Christmas to put all the dirt that’s out there onto this thread.
5years of unaccountability for whoever wins.
That includes their failed manifesto pledges obviously.
    Happy voting.

I have to agree; they are all liars, serving their own powermad egos for self interest....its just trying to choose the best of the worst for the 'hope' of a greater good....sounds like Hot Fuzz I know

I never , EVER thought I would ever agree with JRMogg on anything but I agree, he's right

when he said it would probably take 50 years for our economy to recover....

James Cleverly failed to turn up for Kay Burley this morning.
Far too many difficult questions to answer.
    General Election campaign day one.
Not a good start for the Tories.

    Christmas rail 'misery'
The Mail and the Daily Star lead on the 27 days of strikes announced by RMT members on South Western Railway next month.
The Star has the headline: "Grinches ruin Christmas" while for the Mail it is: "Rail union's Christmas misery for millions".
The paper also lashes out over station closures and reduced services across the country over the festive period - saying long-suffering passengers will be lumbered with disruption and overcrowding as they attempt to visit loved ones.

Meanwhile, the intervention of the head of the civil service to stop Conservative plans to publish a Treasury assessment of Labour's economic policies, is widely reported - and makes the lead for the Financial Times.
According to the paper, Sir Mark Sedwill argued that the work had been rushed, but officials also said he was determined to uphold "the appearance of impartiality" for the civil service.
There are raised eyebrows at Jo Swinson's categorical insistence - at the launch of the Liberal Democrats' election campaign on Tuesday - that she would not form any pact with Labour in the event of a hung parliament.
"Really?" the Daily Telegraph asks. "Given her hostility to Brexit," the paper goes on, "do we really believe that, if she was in a position to do so, Ms Swinson would not put Jeremy Corbyn into Number 10 in order to get another referendum?" The paper says her position stretches incredulity.

Sad that the "System" we have, puts undesirables in Power.
Those undesirables (while in power) will not change it, is Nigel the most undesirable.

Yes, without hesitation, he is the single most self promoting liar about his raison d’etre for Brexit ( see we can’t do without the French) ....money,money,money!

When you see Herr Farage fidgeting, it’s because he’s trying to get Aaron Bank’s arm out of his ar se as he is the puppet master and recently Pinocchio Farage has been getting out of his pram, thinking he can make some of the decisions, Pah!
