Slightly hungover so wasn't massively feeling it today but I did manage to nudge the bankroll up a bit, mainly from doing cool stuff like this:

Must have somehow had *just enough* fe there and it's a pretty gin river once it goes x-x.
Stuff like this makes my underwear suddenly tighten. Beautiful .
I was going to say something like, "Hopefully we'll get to see some tightened underwear on the stream tomorrow night" but that sounds creepy and not at all right.
Looking forward to seeing some bluffs tomorrow, is what I mean. This diary lark's a lexical minefield.
I think I might be looking at a ban from Twitch for any underwear tightening scenes. However, I can confirm it's ok for me to get my b00bs out - so long as I'm painting them at the time. It's a funny old place really!
Will do my best to pull some Rowland specials tomorrow
Bankroll has nudged up ever-so-slightly - starting to play more and like it a bit more.
Liferoll has nudged up ever-so-slightly, too - starting to play more and like that a bit more, too.
I put it down to getting a new speaker (life changing: I cringe when I think of all the years I've spent at listening to music through my computer), yoga followed by candle meditation most evenings (life changing: this little pocket of time at the end of the day brings me joy and keeps me going through the on/off horrors of the day), walking in the rain (obviously rad, assuming you have a decent waterproof jacket), reading more books a week than Chris Finch, playing tennis again and a ton of other stuff that I'll save you from, for now.
Slightly tightened-underwear hand below for (mainly) @Duesenberg - overbet jamming rivers with jack high is pretty much the coolest thing you can do with your life. I urge you all to do it immediately and repeatedly and if it fails to work out I urge you all to do yoga followed by candle meditation immediately and repeatedly.
Sorry for the spam in your thread @SR23 but I was taught this technique by a counsellor and it was great and I stopped doing it (don't know why) but the mention here means I will be going back to it. Thanks.

This is so far from spam it's unreal - love this stuff, thank you. Really interesting link - haven't got to the point of "having no visual awareness apart from the candle flame" but hopefully I'm heading that way. I just heard a brief thing about it on 6Music one day a while back - think it may have been on Jarvis Cocker's prog talking about it - and thought, 'that's a piece of me, that'.
I really struggle to do "eyes closed crossed legged" meditation but find it much easier with a candle. I try and do a similar thing with the sea/waves (i.e. stare at the sea for half an hour/try to switch thoughts off).

...and once again, I thank you. I knee jerk tried a few mindfulness techniques after I lost my son. The candle technique worked, very good for stress and anxiety relief and clearing thoughts at the end of the day. In my office I have a chair with a split level desk and putting the candle on the higher shelf means it is in the perfect position. About 50cm away and just below eye level and I am sat upright in my relatively comfy office chair. My counsellor told me to focus on the tip of the inner flame which seemed to help.

Villain tanked, btw, just to make it more fun.

Your diary needs to come with a warning about sexually explicit content. Any more of this sort of thing and I'm gonna need to make sure I have a box of tissues on hand every time I check for updates .
Good to hear that everything seems to be on an upswing. I'm now off to find a candle .
Bankroll has been knocked around a bit. Only a few scratches though, nothing it can't handle. Thought it was going to be one of those nights when this happened a few minutes into the session:

Thoughts on river on this next hand? Or thoughts anywhere, really. Have hardly played against villain and no notes but they haven't done anything untoward in the orbit or two I've played against them. But we should be going for value, right? And then folding, right? Or is this not right? ....

Candle meditation?
What that & how does it work?
Do you have to stick the candle in something? I once knew a young lady who did that.
(Need your own candle really but gives you the idea)
