Managed to ping the £2.20 rebuy for £135 yesterday. Transferred this good fortune to (mainly) 30nl where I played sometimes well, sometimes horribly, but came away with a decent profit. Ran poorly in the migraine stakes, and copped one just as I was winding down my session whilst watching @PBKR relentlessly flopping nut flushes for hours on his (rather excellent and brand new) stream.

So I have a migraine hangover today. And a hangover hangover. Still, the roll has more than doubled in a few days and I can mix in some 50nl for the last day or two of the challenge (I played a bit of 50nl deep in the early hours but wasn't at my best).

Might put up some hands from yesterday but it's such a faff taking out the names and I don't know how much people want to see hands, so not sure how much it's worth it. If you want to see some hands just say, "I want to see some hands" and I'll put up some hands. If you're ambivalent about seeing hands just say, "Actually, I'm ambivalent about seeing hands" and then I probably won't bother.

    Happy weekending everyone.

    Opening roll: £150
    Roll: £893

    Hi Steve
I’d like to see some hands, for a variety of reasons, fun being top, then there’s the “ So this is how the better players get me off a pot with trash”
Of course having that in mind, calling and them having it kinda sucks.
    Funny old game.

Oh, and pics of new flat ( My faith in you never wavers or is it waivers, wafers? )

Okay, hot off the press - literally since you posted. It's quite a boring hand though but I was singing on the flop and turn, "He has eights, he has eights" because I'm so used to running into eights here. Leaving the SN in because it's super standard.

I'll get working on these today, Tom. All the big hands over the last day have just been value bets.

Pics of the new flat could come as early as ... June? June seems a good month to buy a flat.

It absolutely SHOULD be, "My faith in you never wafers" - thanks hermano

Straight Flush man must have been saying to himself "PLEASE let Oppo have the K or Q flush".

    What a cooler.

Congrats on hitting 4 figures though.

Not having the wherewithal to post hand histories, seeing AA hold was pleasing.
It’s late, and I’ve just been knocked out of the mini , 700k+ pot.
    88 v AA 🙄
I was the one with AA aipf
    Well done on the K.
    Is it ok to grumble?

Cheers Teacakes - he pinged the SF on the river after I jammed turn but I can't remotely moan about running badly tonight.

Another dastardly migraine last night which meant playing (I can barely see the screen/cards) was a little tricky and also means that I have another migraine hangover. Feel weak, wiped out, vulnerable and some other words so doubt I'll play much today. Plus I have a new work project starting tomorrow and because I'm a massive square nowadays I want to do some prep for it.

So this might be the end of the challenge. Not sure if I've found bliscipline and I'm not sure how much I like nicked-from-Tommy-Angelo portmanteaus but both my game and bankroll are more sturdy than they were at the beginning of the month.

The first night after posting I dropped around 25 buy-ins which was, frankly, breathtaking and I still marvel at it, so I'm delighted that I've reached four figures. The last couple of days have seen some ridiculous sun running as I moved up to predominantly 30nl (and some 50nl) and I'm tempted to try to continue to play a bit higher throughout March and possibly keep this diary going. I'm also tempted to take out a grand and go back to rofl-ing around at 10nl.

Let's see, shall we. Thanks for following everyone, happy Sundaying.

Thank you so much Tikay - it's genuinely a delight to have you here supporting me.

I take Fever Few to stave them off which I found - honestly hyperbole aside - almost life saving. I went from having a dozen or so migraines in a month (and four in a weekend once) to having none for well over a year once I started on a daily Fever Few tablet. Migraleve, I take the pink ones, are pretty good at easing the pain but it's all the other associated stuff - visual disturbances, feeling stripped to the marrow the day after etc - that I struggle with. I might try a month or so laying completely off the booze, caffeine and so on but because the causes of migraines often hide in the shadows and could be almost random, I don't want to end up like one of BF Skinner's pigeons trying to identify the cause.

The cause of migraines is interesting. Well the cause is constricted blood vessels to the brain, but what causes that is odd. I suffered horribly for years but I eventually discovered that if I avoided the dreaded "C"'s, I was OK.

    So I was fine once I packed up eating/drinking;

    Citrus fruits

    Cheese

    Chocolate

    Coffee, or anything containing caffeine.

I had them so bad at one time, I went to a private quack. He said the secret was to open up constricted the blood vessels, & the best way to do that was to knock one out. I swear to God that was his advice.
