ITV GMB viewers switch off show after Quentin Letts' 'unbelievable' response to MP watching po rn "I think it would be wrong for viewers to think that parliamentarians are constantly thinking about great matters of state when they're in the House of Commons"
Quentin Letts has come under fire for his response to allegations of an MP watching **** in the House of Commons. The journalist appeared on Good Morning Britain today (April 27) and said Parliament is a "very boring place" and "not exactly like a church."
Speaking amid reports that a male Tory MP watched pornographic material on his phone in Parliament, Quentin told GMB's Ben Shephard and Ranvir Singh: "If I can just play devil's advocate for a second, I'd say if you've ever been in the House of Commons it's an extremely boring place.
"I think it would be wrong for viewers to think that parliamentarians are constantly thinking about great matters of state when they're in the House of Commons. You go in there and they're doing all sorts of things, they're looking at their tablets, so it's not exactly like it's a church.
"And second I'd say politics is politics, and the politicians tend to represent the country and there are a lot of pretty grotty people in this country who get a kick out of ****."
Quentin, a parliamentary sketch writer for The Times, has been criticised by viewers on Twitter for his comments. @martleshamman said: "An unbelievable response by Quentin Letts when asked about the MP watching ****!! Devil's advocate ffs. What an arrogant, sad little man."
@sdbrown500 added: "That Quentin Letts should not be given a platform on this show. He’s out of date and some of his opinions are odious." @mento56 said: "Quentin Letts trying to justify watching **** in the Hous because it's "boring" Unbelievable!"
While GladonBaltiKing wrote: "Quentin Letts makes me turn your show off. Insufferable."

I am sure many professional online poker players have at some point done this at work. The issue is that work would be in their own home in their own privacy.
Professional poker players are self employed, and are free to conduct their working day as they see fit. A Cabinet Minister is paid around £150k per year, funded by the tax payer. They therefore have a responsibility to do their jobs, rather than watching po rn when they are supposed to be working.
So the issue is not whether someone watched **** at work the issue is regarding watching **** in public.
The issue is that a CM whose wages are paid by the taxpayer, was caught watching po rn while he was supposed to be working, on more than one occasion. Secondly he was watching the po rn in view of a number of female colleagues.
I remember one time when I was on a plane and a women went ballistic about a guy allegedly watching ****, during the flight.
Why wouldnt she?
The flight attendants response rightly or wrongly was so what if he wants to do that. So then the women loudly claimed it was child **** and demanded they do something about it and suddenly the issue got more serious.
The flight attendant was clearly wrong. Watching any po rn within view of others is undoubtedly offensive. The possession of child po rnography is illegal, often results in offenders being jailed, and quite rightly so.
What the actual outcome of this was I will never know. this was on window seats and I was in the middle row a few rows back.
The seating was irrelevant.
The whole plane noticed this commotion though.
So the moral of all of this is, do not watch **** in public, but then again if you frequent kink clubs as some people I know have then people watch **** in groups there sometimes. However since everyone accepts there I guess its okay.
So really the moral is do not watch child **** ever, and do not watch **** in public unless it is at a kink club in which case it is okay.
The reason I worry about you is that you often seem unable to recognise the issues involved. I think that the fact that you were able to write the above is proof of this.

I just saw Suella Braverman on the TV News. She claimed to be unaware of who the MP is. Nor is she aware of the who the 2 female MPs are that reported the incident. Incredible.

So why do you worry about me?
Okay I will go with this. Firstly the story about the plane did happen, however I am clearly playing a bit of a character and been silly.
The thing is I am aware that I am a bit of a character myself, heck where ever I go people never forget me. There was a German sausage stall at the Christmas market in my town they did not come back until the summer. one of the girls working their mentioned she remembered me from Christmas how do I stand out that much? they literally serve thousands of people a day and this is based of one five minute encounter?
However sometimes I parody my own character and play it up for a sense of humor. I think a very large part of the sky poker community who read the forums recognize this.
Yes I am more then aware that watching **** in public is not acceptable. I am aware that if I am paid to do a job watching **** during that time is unacceptable. Where as if I am self employed its not really anyone else's business what I do unless I am in public and certain social norms etc.
You get so wound up over small things and take it so seriously. Trying to break down every single little point, like some sort of lawyer in a court room.
Dude I am just a guy that struggles to say stuff succinctly (still very worried about the grade for my statistics essay not got it back yet) and thinks differently to most people. I have been mocked for it harshly in the past and it used to get to me now I just have a laugh with it.
Its like you imagine some big drama or big fight on the forums and take it so seriously when in reality I am just posting comments casually.
You went off on like a 3 page tirade over one small tease thread I made.
You take things far to seriously mate, maybe you just need to chillax a little.

You have just confirmed why I worry about you. I think that you live in your own little world. I think you are probably deluded over other peoples impression of you. I make no excuse over taking seriously, a public servant watching po rn when they should be working, particularly when this has been done while offending female colleagues. Or for taking child po rn anything other than very seriously. I cant see anything funny about child po rn. Maybe the girls at the sausage stall remembered you because they thought you were a d1ck. Your original post clearly contradicted all the things you say you are aware of in this post. Please be advised that I am not looking for any advice from you.
If it's gay p orn he will have to come out of the cabinet.
on a serious note Homophobia is a real issue in the UK. I can say from personal experience as whilst not been gay, I have for whatever reasons been mistaken for gay and been violently assaulted for that. So yes it is a real issue.
However I dont think that most of our politicians are Homophobic can you provide evidence for that?

Yes it is serious which is why I'm not homophboic. I love my house.
