Looking at both, gives you an idea of anything new. I then record anything I might want to watch. I dont watch everything. Doing this could save you a lot of money.
You may also wish to familiarise yourself with the "On Demand" tab. It is pretty much self explanatory. I explained the other day which apps you have access to, and you will know which ones you pay for. Although the vast majority of this tab is dedicated to programmes accessible through Sky. So for instance had you had a glance at the "top picks" on this tab, you would have noticed that Justified was available to download. Had you selected it, and chosen "available now" it would have been obvious that there were 6 series available to download. It is also useful to point out which programmes are popular. The new Reacher series appears on this tab. All 8 episodes will be available from this Friday. Recent shows you may have missed, and recently added, also feature. You would also found Tulsa King under Paramount+ originals and exclusives. Whilst on this tab this morning, I had a look at After The Flood. I was directed to the ITVX app, which is not free, but you dont have to pay for it. I am currently recording this programme through Sky. I can get one programme per week, so it will take 6 weeks to get to the end of it. Yet all 6 episodes are available on the ITVX app now. Fool Me Once is worth a watch. If you were looking for Elementary. You would select on demand. Scroll down to channels. Select Alibi. Select Elementary. You would then see that there are 7 series available to download.
I'm still struggling with Alibi & Justified, but I'm busy today, so will explain properly soonest, probably tomorrow.
That is I suppose one of my points. By using the on demand properly, you can have a look when you are not busy. You could download anything you might want to watch. So lets say you had a look tomorrow. You may wish to download 6 series of Justified, 7 series of Elementary, 3 series of True Detective, 6 series of The Sopranos, 2 series of The White Lotus, 2 series of Annika, and 4 series of Succession. You can then watch them at your leisure. So even if they are removed from on demand, you have still got them. If you didnt like any of them, you could just delete them, but you would build up a library of stuff that you may wish to watch.
I noticed today that Discovery+ seem to be expanding into crime drama. This is another app that is not free, but you dont have to pay for it. They only used to stream true crime programmes. They now have episodes of Cold Case, which was excellent, The Mentalist, and The Closer, available. They also have a Nature & Animals tab, and plenty of sport including Australian Open Tennis.
Discovery+ is something to keep a close eye on.
It was originally designed as some sort of add-on to the owners of Eurosport. However, Eurosport has now been purchased by TNT Sports (what used to be BT Sport). And prices for TNT have gone through the roof.
So I expect that Discovery+ will soon get a whole lot more expensive. Although Eurosport remains free as part of a Sky package-at least for now.
And I am addicted to Biathlon
I was watching a Walter Presents programme on the CH4 app, the other day, and when I got to the end a suggestion of what I should watch next came up on the screen. The programme they were suggesting was a Discovery+ programme. Up until then I had only watched true crime on there. This is what prompted me to have a look, and note that they seem to be expanding into other areas. I have been unable to find this particular programme on the Discovery+ app, but I could get it on the CH4 app if I could remember the title.

It was good, but not as good as Series 1.
I think it is because Reacher works best as a lone wolf, rather than as part of a team.
