I think it is because Reacher works best as a lone wolf, rather than as part of a team.
I thought it was bad. I gave up halfway through episode 2. I am going back to Walter Presents. Had a bite with my son-in-law last night, he was very keen on The Castaways.
Thanks @Essexphil I'll give it a whirl in the next few days & report back.
Amazing how many TV Channels there are these days.
Been going since 1997, and under current name since 2008.
Tip:-if you are going to watch "Elementary", suggest watch it from the beginning. It is wonderful
PS-trivia about Jonny Lee Miller:-
1. He was the first Husband of Angelina Jolie 2. There was already a "Johnny Miller", so he added the "Lee" in tribute to his Grandfather-Bernard Lee (M in the 1st 11 Bond Films)
He was a golfer.
Trainspotting’s Jonny Lee Miller: ‘If I could make a living being a firefighter, I may well just do that’
What is "Alibi" then? An App, a TV Channel? Never heard of it. I'm not going to pay for it, that's for sure.
Is "Vengeance" just a one-off Film, or is it a TV Series?
Alibi is a free channel, just follow the instructions. Vengeance is a free film, as long as you have Sky Cinema.
I do two things every day, which probably takes 5 minutes. Select TV guide. Then scroll up 2. Select New Series. This is updated daily. I then have a look at Todays Top Picks, on the home page. Looking at both, gives you an idea of anything new. I then record anything I might want to watch. I dont watch everything. Doing this could save you a lot of money.
You may also wish to familiarise yourself with the "On Demand" tab. It is pretty much self explanatory. I explained the other day which apps you have access to, and you will know which ones you pay for. Although the vast majority of this tab is dedicated to programmes accessible through Sky. So for instance had you had a glance at the "top picks" on this tab, you would have noticed that Justified was available to download. Had you selected it, and chosen "available now" it would have been obvious that there were 6 series available to download. It is also useful to point out which programmes are popular. The new Reacher series appears on this tab. All 8 episodes will be available from this Friday. Recent shows you may have missed, and recently added, also feature. You would also found Tulsa King under Paramount+ originals and exclusives. Whilst on this tab this morning, I had a look at After The Flood. I was directed to the ITVX app, which is not free, but you dont have to pay for it. I am currently recording this programme through Sky. I can get one programme per week, so it will take 6 weeks to get to the end of it. Yet all 6 episodes are available on the ITVX app now. Fool Me Once is worth a watch. If you were looking for Elementary. You would select on demand. Scroll down to channels. Select Alibi. Select Elementary. You would then see that there are 7 series available to download.
I'm still struggling with Alibi & Justified, but I'm busy today, so will explain properly soonest, probably tomorrow.
That is I suppose one of my points. By using the on demand properly, you can have a look when you are not busy. You could download anything you might want to watch. So lets say you had a look tomorrow. You may wish to download 6 series of Justified, 7 series of Elementary, 3 series of True Detective, 6 series of The Sopranos, 2 series of The White Lotus, 2 series of Annika, and 4 series of Succession. You can then watch them at your leisure. So even if they are removed from on demand, you have still got them. If you didnt like any of them, you could just delete them, but you would build up a library of stuff that you may wish to watch.
I noticed today that Discovery+ seem to be expanding into crime drama. This is another app that is not free, but you dont have to pay for it. They only used to stream true crime programmes. They now have episodes of Cold Case, which was excellent, The Mentalist, and The Closer, available. They also have a Nature & Animals tab, and plenty of sport including Australian Open Tennis.
Discovery+ is something to keep a close eye on.
It was originally designed as some sort of add-on to the owners of Eurosport. However, Eurosport has now been purchased by TNT Sports (what used to be BT Sport). And prices for TNT have gone through the roof.
So I expect that Discovery+ will soon get a whole lot more expensive. Although Eurosport remains free as part of a Sky package-at least for now.
And I am addicted to Biathlon
When did this happen?
About 15 years. The faster you ski, the worse you shoot. It's totally addictive.
Before that, I was addicted to the okey-cokey. But I turned myself around
You might want to watch episode 4 of the below. The review says it is episode 8, but its not it is 4. Its on Paramount+, free if you have Sky Cinema.
"Laura's Story" shows us the desperation of a family who lost a child in a school shooting. Laura deals with her anger by taking to the public stage to lobby against assault weapons. This makes sense as her philosophy professor character needs retribution to right the wrong.

Quick mention for 2 shows that I have thoroughly enjoyed.
1. Poker Face. What's not to like? A former pro poker player turns detective, as she can always tell when someone is lying. Surprisingly, the stories pay homage to Columbo, as we know whodunnit, and the fun is working out how she works it out
2. The Traitors. There is a certain level of snobbery attached to "Reality" TV. Whereas, like all other genres, a lot is rubbish and some of it is brilliant. If you've not seen it, watch the 1st 2 episodes of either Series 1 or Series 2. When you will be hooked.

I must admit that I wasnt very keen on Poker Face. I am reluctant to get involved with The Traitors. I have never ever watched a single episode of any reality show. So I would be afraid that starting now may lead me down a slippery slope that may result in me taking an interest in Love Island, or Essex etc.

Delighted to confirm it is not a slippery slope/gateway drug.
Never watched a single minute of Love Island/TOWIE. And never will.
PS-Claudia is absolutely brilliant in this. Unlike the usually brilliant Alan C umming on the US version.

Thats a relief. Perhaps I will have a look at some point. I thought Alan C umming was ok in The Good Wife, but not so much since.

Spoke to Sky this morning. Got the bill down to £50 per month. Posted details on the Stream thread.
Just coming to the end of the first series. Started episode 12, this morning. At the start, a woman who is on the game gets assaulted. Her face is badly cut up. So she is lying in a hospital bed, recovering from her injuries. Yet she still seems determined to be advertising her goods. Despite not being fit, and there being a distinct lack of potential customers. I suppose we just have to put it down to a bit of poetic licence.
Its well worth a watch. Nothing to do with goods on display. The characters are very good.

Sorry @Essexphil but nothing could persuade me to watch a show where Claudia Winkelman is the host.
Claudia Winkleman fact - she is the only celebrity on earth who's sole talent is to have a really bad fringe.
I am reluctant to get involved with The Traitors.

Not so.
