    But, of those-

Ray Donovan. Couldn't get into it. Wife loved it
The Good Wife. Excellent. Lost a little when Archie Panjabi left
Couldn't get into Dexter. Wife loved it. Think she likes anything where Husbands get murdered without any consequences ;)
    Elementary. Brilliant

I Watched More Than 25 TV And Movie Thrillers In 2024. These Are 10 I Think You Should Watch

    Conclave
A movie one of my colleagues described as “Papal Election meets HBO’s Succession,” Edward Berger’s Conclave was one of the most intense, engaging and thrilling cinematic experiences I’ve had in a very long time. Leaving me on the edge of my seat from the opening moments until the credits rolled two hours later, this film about the election of the next pope is worthy of all the praise and then some. Ralph Fiennes, as the cardinal tasked with leading the process and keeping everyone in line, is brilliant, as is Stanley Tucci and the rest of the cast.

    Civil War
Alex Garland’s Civil War didn’t receive a single Golden Globe nomination, a decision my colleagues and I are still trying to figure out. Let me tell you, this movie following a group of journalists attempting to reach Washington, D.C. before the President of the United States is deposed was one of the most intense moviegoing experiences of my life. Easily one of the best A24 movies to date, this apolitical thriller weaves together a loud, violent and thoughtful story about truth and who gets to tell the truth in an astonishingly poignant and succinct way. Plus, there’s one scene I haven’t been able to stop thinking about since seeing the movie.

I thought 'civil war' was tremendous, well worth watching, pretty much liked everything else on that list as well bar 'rebel ridge' which I thought was so sh ite it may have been directed by Guy Ritchie

    Wednesday.
Black Doves | Official Trailer #2 | Netflix

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=shzJzjVscno&t=2s

    All episodes available.
    Good start.
binge watched this, thought it was very good, recommended
Yes they are already talking about season 2.
I am waiting for a couple on Paramount.
They have a habit of releasing one episode per week.
I prefer to wait until they are all available, so I can watch them when I want to.
And lots of older people have at least slight memory problems.
So its nice to be able to watch the next one, before you forget what happened in the last one.
I am looking forward to The Agency, and Landman.
The Agency has a very good cast, and I am a Billy Bob Thornton fan.
A couple of weeks to go yet.

Mayor of Kingstown started off well.
Yellowstone has a good cast, but I cant get into it.
I havent watched Sexy Beast yet.
The Serial Killers Wife was good.
    Brotherhood was also good.
    Ray Donovan also started well.
The Good Wife was very good.
Deadwood was good, starring Lovejoy, it probably has the most swearing I have ever heard in any tv programme I have ever watched.
    I couldnt get into Dexter.
I watched a couple of series of Elementary, and might have another go, from start to finish.
    The Bureau is excellent.
I wasnt that keen on Lioness.
I watched the early series of Blue Bloods, but went off it.
All the Rise of the Footsoldiers are worth a watch.
I havent watched season 2 of Tulsa King yet.
    Finestkind was ok.
Mayor of Kingstown Got Renewed For Season 4, And There's One Storyline I Need Jeremy Renner's Character To Be Involved In

I dont know if you watch any true crime Phil, but I came across a series on Crime+Investigation called Very Scary People.
It is hosted by Donnie Wahlberg of Blue Bloods fame.
I havent watched it, so I dont know what it is like.

Mr InBetween (Disney) was a really enjoyable Comedy/Drama series.

Three series, about 6 episodes in each, all around 25 minutes. Smashing little stories, & the central character, Ray Shoesmith, is very good indeed.

He's an Aussie "debt collector" & "security" bloke.

    Very good indeed.
